So much has changed since the last time I have written, but here it goes.
I am now a Junior in high school and 17 years old. WOW it amazes me how time flies. Soon I will have to think about college and it scares me. The thought of me going into the real world does not settle well with me . Maybe its because I am so used to being around family and having their support, but all I know is I am not ready for that big step. My mother told me the other day that I needed to get out of "the I am a little girl mindset". She gave me this talk about how I need start around people my age and also those who have a disability . In the end her advice worked yesterday I went out for lunch with my close friend Jonathan. (with no parental supervision) We had a great time and it was a much needed day.
As for school it is going well, this is the most important year in my High school journey. Every grade that you make counts and it crucial to do well. Colleges will be looking at my SAT Scores, grades, and current GPA. For those you who don't know I want to major in Journalism or creative writing. I really hoping to do something in the writing path, but I will continue to put this in Gods hand.
If you have any advice it will be greatly appreciated. I think that is all for now until next time.
Ps . I will be writing more I now have my very own computer ( Christmas present) this will massively help with all my writing.
Much love
Alexa :)
