Natsu's POV
Before they met

As I entered the restraunt I see gajjel waiting for me he dragged me out of the restraunt and into the alley. Alright dragnel here's your first mission it will prove how much knowledge you have over human emotions, I looked through my girls contacts and found a blonde chick who is a total babe I got her number she looked hard to get today's lesson is you have to make her blush and get her to be yours in a week got that flame brain. I was excited for this I charmed many demon girls back in hell how hard could a human girl be I was curious who this girl was we walked out of the alley and we entered the restraunt as we did gajjel searched for his girlfriend and found them in a nearby table It was surprisingly the girl I saw she was a total babe perfect body round lips chocolate eyes and she looked vicious I noticed it was not going to be easy to get her to be mine or stop myself from falling for her. Gajeel introduced himself and I studied his girlfriend she was small blue hair red glasses and a small yet adorable face. She looked exactly like gajeels type I noticed that the blonde was staring I smiled my signature girn and I spoke the words that made every girl fal the names natsu it's a pleasure meeting you beautiful. I saw no blush or amusement in her face I had to think fast she stuck out her hand to shake mine and I got an idea I grabbed her hand and kissed it I saw blush from the corner of my eye it disappeared and calmly she spoke. This time I blushed her voice was so angelic so soft like a voice soothing you to sleep suddenly I got a feeling a feeling that I wanted to protect her ... Wait what am I thinking I can't fall for her. I'll fail the test. Throughout the dinner I heard her laugh we got to know each other after the dinner we exchanged numbers to keep in touch she gathered her things she looked at her watch and her eyes seemed alert she got her things quickly and said her goodbyes and ran out.

Lucys POV

I spoke for the first time in front of him he seemed suprised then he turned red and quickly tried to change the conversation that made me laugh and he blushed again this guy was not good at hiding his blush but hey we all can't be perfect right. I had fun the dinner was cute and comfy I would definitely recommend this restraunt. After the dinner I remembered I had to meet up with Triton to meet his daughter dad had organized a marriage since my brother was hopeless I had the job to fetch her and take her to heaven to meet her. I think I got a little distracted as natsu kept trying to flirt I looked at my watch and saw that I only had 20 mins till my meeting I instantly panicked and finished gathering my stuff said goodbye and ran out I felt like I forgot something but it was getting late so I shook the feeling off I finally arrived home I turned my power on and opened a portal I turned mermaid mode and swam into the sea as my tail appeared.

Natsu's POV

Lucy ran out as she disappeared from sight I noticed something gleaming from the corner of my eye I see it's a heart shaped necklace with a lock I opened it and I saw a beautiful woman who looked elegant and rich she looked exactly like Lucy at the bottom of the photo and I read the words below. Rest in peace mom I love you. Then Levy left and gajeel came over to me well flame brain you tried but Lucy didn't seem amused what are you going to do now. He said with a disappointed voice. Calm down man I'm trying she's a hard nut to crack I have a week don't I have her number and a reason why I would want to meet her.
