Some people believe there is no such thing as coincidence. They say everything is bound to happen. These people talk about destiny, about fate.
I have to say either both of these groups are right, or none of them.
The thing is just that I see what will happen and it always becomes truth, but I see those things only after I made my choice. It's not like I'd walk around and see how someone will die just by looking at him, or that I'd see if a couple would be fine in few years, no it usually happened after I made a decision and the glimpses I saw were mostly concerning myself.
Sometimes when I rethought my choice the future changed, but I could count the times that had happened on one hand. I rarely ever rethought what I did and I tried so hard not to care for anyone, that I only saw my own future.

So this might help you a little to imagine my surprise when I met him for the first time. He was tall, his hair dark and his body trained. As soon as my eyes took in his shape I felt the familiar dizziness that always came right before my visions started.

'Whatever it is, Cassy, you can tell me, I will understand, I won't judge you. I love you Cassandra, why don't you believe me?'
Those dark eyes met mine and I felt helpless, but in a strange, good way.
'I know you do, and you know I do love you, but that's the reason - I don't want to hurt you, to loose you.'
'You don't make any sense my love, you're afraid, I can understand that, but I promise you, we'll be fine. Nothing will happen.'
Tears started to fall and I closed my eyes, hiding my face in his shoulder. As I felt his strong arms pulling me closer, I knew I was going to give in.

I felt myself falling, but was out of control, my body seemed to be in a far distance and I prepared myself for the pain of hitting the floor, closing my ryes before the impact. It never came. Strong arms caught me just before I hit the ground and carried me over to a table in the corner of the café.
"Miss, are you alright? Can you hear me? Miss?" His voice was dark, yet soft and I knew I would fall dor this man. Opening my eyes slowly I met those dark eyes from my vision once again, this time full of worry.
"Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Not quite, but you're close", I mumbled and he laughed.
"I don't think I've introduced myself, I'm David."
"Cassandra", I answer and shake his outstretched hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Deep inside I know I shouldn't have done that. I should have tried to save him, although part of me knows it won't matter if I try.
He's my soulmate in this life and I know neither of us will be able to stay away from the other for long.
This is fate.
