Alone

The new friend

It's was about 6:30 am in the morning
I got up to go to the washroom and I washed my face to only glare at myself . I walked outside and put on some clothes  and I walked down stairs to find my mom in the kitchen crying. I ran over to her and asked her what's wrong but then I saw the picture of my dad... " I'm sorry mum" I hugged her gently . *sniff* " heh it's ok Alexis...s-so are you ready to go to your aunts? . I nodded . Yeah...w-when dose the new school start for me? . " ummm oh! In three days " . " oh ok...ill be outside in the car" I walked out the window to see the beautiful sunrise it's was one of my favourite things to see. It was always beautiful  I sat on the side walk  looking  at the sun rise . " Alexis...are you ready to go?"  . I looked at her . " oh yeah! Sorry  ... I was looking at the sun rise "
My mom laughs alittle . " heh it's ok I loved it to when I was little " . I got up and walked over to the car . So when are you going to pick me up?..  " well...I know how you love walking so I thought maybe I'll let you walk home ".  I gasped . " really!?! "  she laughed . " yeah as long as I can trust you not to do anything to yourself ok?" . I nodded really fast . I was so exited because I was never allowed that much freedom . Me and my mom have trust issues towards people and each other sometimes even are selves. " thanks mom " . " no problem but Alexis...if anything happens I'll never let you do this again until your seven teen and if everything goes ok you'll be trusted to go out by yourself more got it?" She looked at me with a serious look . " yeah I got it " . The rest of the ride to my aunt Mary's  was quite but as soon as I got there I was heading to my own room there . I did say goodbye to my mom and hello to my aunt    But I was more excited to get to my room I had drawings on the wall and a tv and my queen sized bed . To be honest my Aunty spoils me because she doesn't have kids of her own my mom gets Alittle upset when she sends me home with a whole bunch of new stuff   Because my room is already full with stuff so I now have another room that I don't sleep in its just a room for my stuff .  I walk upstairs to my room and I open the door and I smile to see that everything was the way I left it . I open my a box on the table by the bed and I pull out a remote  I turn on the tv and I  turn on the news . I know it sounds wired but I enjoy watching the news . I watch it for fifteen minutes then I get bored so I turn on  music and I put on my painting shirt . It's not really a painting a shirt it's just a shirt I don't use so I use it for painting since I don't care for it. I turn on my favourite song by twenty one pilots " fall away " and I grab a canvas for painting and I start painting the moon with some stars near it but then there is a knock on the door  I open it to see my aunt " hey Alexis I'm going to the mall wanna come?" . I looked over at the painting and I look back at her " yeah I'll come "  . She looks over my shoulder  to see the canvas she moves my arm and walks towards it " Alexis this is beautiful! " she looked at me then back at the picture . " thank you " I said with a small smile . " your getting really good at this Alexis " she smiled and then looked at me . " well let's get ready to go to the mall ok? " ok " 

~time skip~

I walk into the mall to find it different  . I look confused and my Aunty notices " what's wrong Alexis ?" She looks at me . " it's deferent " she looks at the mall " hmm no it's not it's the same as usual " I look back and it looks normal now . I shake my head alittle and laugh a bit , I must have been imaging things I guess " . she nods .  " hey Alexis you like art right? " yeah why?" . She pointed to a store that I never payed attention to , it was an art store " oh wow " .I say with a smile .  She smiles . " wanna check it out?" . I nod  and we walk up to it . I enter it to see so many things in one place I smile and look around . " here Alexis " . She hands me a plastic basket . " just in case you find something you like " " oh ok " . I walk off to the sketching stuff and I smile seeing a new sketch book , I grab it and walk to the paint area and I see a periwinkle blue and I grab it but to only  drop it I sigh and someone picks it up and smiles . It was a boy . I get alittle nervous . He smiles . " is this yours?" He asked with a smooth gentle voice witch made some of the nervousness go away " u-um yeah " he smiled again and handed it to me . " what's your name?" He asked . " Alexis " . " that's a beautiful name " he said with a smile " I'm zack " "  h-hi ... " .he laughed a bit. " are you shy around new people " I nodded ." Well it's ok I was like that to a couple years ago say how old are you?"  " fifteen "  . he smiles. " I'm the same age "  I smile " what school do you go to Alexis? "  " oh um I'm starting school in three days , I'm going to red wood academy " he smiles " I go there as well "  " oh cool  well maybe I'll see you around there "  " definitely , well Alexis nice to become friends with you but I got to go and I'll see you in three days ok?"  " o-ok bye " he smiles and walks to the cash register with his things  and I get the rest of my things I want and I turn around to find my Aunty starring at me I jump and almost fall over " jeez! You scared me half to death!"  .She smiles. " who was that boy you were talking to? ". " I guess a new friend " " oh ok well let's pay for your stuff and leave " . I nod and pay for my stuff and we walk out of the mall.

When we got home I was alittle tired so I took my stuff up stairs and took a small nap .

~half in hour later~

I got up and I looked at the time it was 4:12 pm I got up had a small snack and I told my aunt goodbye that I'll see her tommorrow she nodded and said " bye " I walked out the door and I look at the sun that would in a while start to go down I smile and continue to walk my thoughts about zack he seemed really nice and he was kind to me I smiled " maybe just maybe I will have a third chance to make friends at this new school . And she continued to walk home .
