1. New life/Prolouge

( I just coudlnt wait! So you get the first chapter today! So there will be sort of a time skip... Yeah... Mhm.... Okay. )

Lilly's POV

I woke up and immediately saw Dipper in my face causing me to shout and fall off the bed.
He laughs but helps me up. Although i don't usually wake up like that, today was my birthday. May 9th.
"Well at least I got some kinda surprised reaction out of you!" he chuckles. I roll my eyes and he pulls me into a hug. "You are such a jerk." I say. He lets go and raises an eyebrow. "But your my jerk!" I say. He smirks and kisses my cheek.
Today I was turning 18. Just the same age as Dipper already was. "Happy birthday!" he says. "What makes you think I'm happy right now?" I raise my eyebrow. "Because your smiling..." he answers. I shrug and exit 93rd He room with him following behind. A couple weeks ago Dipper and I got out own very small house. It was pretty much three rooms. Bathroom, Bedroom, and living room/kitchen area. Yea. Of your thinking, "wow." or "really?" then that was exactly my mental expression. But I stayed positive due to low expense.

"So I got you something that I think you will like!"
He says happily. Oh and by the way, yes... Were still in Oregon.
Gravity fall's... You know the drill.
Although... Stan...I Don't want to talk about it. Or... Think about it... Which is it?

"Lilly?! Please come back down to earth!" Dipper waves his hand in front of me. I look over at him again. "Wha" I say. He face palms. "I said, I want you to open my first gift now!" he says. "Okay." I say simply. I don't usually make a big deal of my birthday. But Dipper says that I should and that it's important. I try my best.

He grabs a circular shaped gift from... The freezer? It was wrapped and everything with a now on top.
"So I realized before summer ended that one say that I forgot to get you something I told you I would get so.... Here." he explains. I open it up and giggle at his gift. "That is your favourite... Right?" he asks. I roll my eyes playfully and nod afterwards. It was a Cookies and cream tub of ice cream.
"Your such a dork. Thank you dip." I say hugging him.
He lets go and chuckles.

"It's what I do!" he says pointing at himself . I smirk.
I put the ice cream back in the freezer and throw away the wrapping paper. But I kept the bow.
I put the bow in my night stand and then realized dip was laughing. "WHAT?! Don't hate!" I say. He just shakes his head. "ITS PRETTY!" I say. "Okay! I believe you!" he puts his hands up in defeat.

"So wait. Why am I waiting for the other gift?" I asked. "Because. I'm that person who keeps your mind wondering until it actually happens." he says. I giggle.
"Gosh your so adorable!" I say. He blushes. "So... What do you want to do for your birthday today?" he asks. "Nothing."

"This again?! Come on... Lillypad I told you! We talked about this!" he says. I groan. "FINNNNNE! YES SIR!!!" I groan more. He shoves my shoulder slightly. "But seriously, and don't say nothing or I don't know, what do you really wanna do?" he asks. He sits down on the couch next to me.
I thought for a moment. "How about we..... UGH! I have no clue." I say. He shakes his head and chuckles. "Terrible. Just terrible." he says. I shrug and he sighs. "You wanna play a board game?" I ask. He smiles. "Well it's something!" he says. I stand up to look through our bedroom. Inside the closet we had a couple of board games. "Lets play...clue?" I say. "Sounds good to me!" he replies. I nod and grab the box from the shelf. Thankfully we don't put the shelf WAY up at the top due to our size.

I bring the box over to the main room and I sit down. My feet had long socks on that went up to my knee, I had on a navy blue t-shirt and a pair of grey shorts.
We play 2 games and Dipper mainly won those. Then I won the 3rd game of clue. But I got a little too excited because of losing the last two rounds.
"YASSSSSS!!!" I yell. I jump up on the couch and start dancing. Dipper just laughs. Then I stop and realize how weird I looked and ended up laughing too.
I even snorted!
Which by the way made me and Dipper laugh even harder.
After our laughing for he went to use the restroom and that's when I heard my phone buzz.
I picked it up and saw a message from Mabel! I still kept contact with Mabel but not as much as I would like to. She now has a boyfriend named Kaleb. With a K.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILLY!!!

I giggled at her emoji's. I hadn't really seen Mabel. Last time I saw her was when she left back to California.

I texted back. I put my phone down and sighed. Then dip came back in. "So now what?" he asked.
I shrugged. "Well lets find SOMETHING to do because tomorrow we have school again. Darn Mondays..." he said. I sighed. "We could go hang out at the mall. But it's a bit farther out." He suggested. I shook my head. "The pool?"
"Noo...."
"The park?"
"Nah."
"How about the arcade?"
I shook my head.
"Umm.... Library?"
"Nope."
"Okay I'm running out of places!"
"Just keep going!"
"Okay... The movies?"
"Maybe."
"Hm... Roller skating?"
"God no!"
"How about we just go to the movies."
He says. "Okay. What movie?" I asked. "What movie do you want?" he questioned me back.
"Your face." I retort. "What?"
"WhAt?!" I say. Then we both chuckle. "Lets just go see what they have. I'm gonna go get dressed." I say. He nods. I get dressed into a Purple dress that poofed out some at the bottom that was knee length. I put on some silver and gray flats too.
My hair had grown back out which I was a little thankful for.
I put a black headband in my hair and saw the stopwatch necklace dip have me. I inhaled the air. I then went outside and Dipper smiled. "Your turn!" I say. He smirks and pecks my lips.

He quickly gets changed in some jeans and a dark blue t-shirt with a small pocket on it. I grab his hand and we leave the house, locking it before getting in Dippers car. "Do you wanna drive?" he asked Me. I have always been terrified of driving. I still got my license but... It was a LOOONG test! Lets just say that.

I shook my head and he drive us to the movies. We got in and went to see inside out.
( I couldn't think of any other movie. )
It was a pretty cute movie in my opinion. Dipper said the same.
After the movie Dipper insisted on taking me to dinner which I thought was a little over the top.
But hey.... Free food! Well... For me at least.
Since he was buying I at least wanted to pick where to so... I chose....
( why do I keep putting myself in these situations where I can't think of anything at all?! )
...Just a fast food restraunt.
We ordered a large frie and I got a chicken sandwich while he got a burger.
We just decided to eat in the car since it looked a little packed inside. We laughed and talked and ate too. At the end we made it back home after sunset. I held dippers hand as We walked inside.
"Thank you Dipper..." I say. He smirks. "No need to thank me. Just doing what boyfriends do!" he says. He blushes and I giggle.
We let go and I took my shoes off and headband.
"I'm kinda tired..." I say. "Don't go to bed just yet?! You still half to open my other gift!" Dip says. I took in a deep breath.
"Okay..." I say. He walks in to our room and I sit on the couch waiting.
"Here." Dip says putting a box in front if me. "And this didn't come out of the freezer?" I say raising an eyebrow. He rolls his eyes. "No... Now open it!" He says excitedly. I sighed and started unwrapping it.
It was a pretty thin box but not SUPER thin... Hm...
I opened up the box and my mouth formed a smile.
"Dip...where did you get the money for this?!" I say.
Right in front of me was a brand new laptop. The one I had been admiring for the past few weeks too. It had a Purple back to it as well!
"I saved up. So you like it?" he asked nervously.
I was so excited. "Like it?! Are you kidding me?!?! I absolutely LOVE it!"
I respond. I hug Dipper really tight. "Dip... Thank you so much..." I say a little quieter.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" he says letting go. He pulls out a Navy blue and Black case for it as well.
"Dip... Why would you do all of this for me?" I asked.
He smiles. "Because I want you to be happy. I love you Lilly. Happy birthday!" he says. I smiled back.
"I love you too. More than anything in this world." I say.

I kiss his cheek which lingers for about a couple seconds.
"Although I suggest letting it charge over night." he says. I nod and plug it up immediately.
I especially needed it because I wasn't going to public schools anymore. I was doing an online schooling program. It seemed a bit more easier for me since you know... I'm a dork.
I help dip throw away all the trash and that night I fell asleep next to Dipper smiling wide.

( Yay! First chapters out! I felt like her birthday was a good start to the book. Yea. Yay january! )
