13. The Three pathways

Lilly's POV

Ever since the insident with the bridge everyone's been on guard and keeping their eye on me except for Michael and Garroth and Pacifica.

Appearently Pacifica and Mabel were walking in the forest and talking about something and didn't realize how deep in they went.

So they were attacked by that... Gigantic lion beast.
And that's when I found them.

So that's why they were here.

"Mabel... What happened to your boyfriend? Chris?" I asked as we walked on.
"He and his parents went to do some sort of weird... Vacationing." she says calmly.
I nod.
I look straight ahead as I could tell Mabel had something on hwe mind.
"What is it mabe--"

"YOU HAVE A TWIN?!?!?!?!?!" she yelled in my ear.
It reminded me of when I first came to Gravity fall's.
The way we first met.

"Ah... Appearently...." I say.
"That is so... Coincidental...." she says.
I look straight ahead. "Yeah... I guess it is." I say.

"This is it Lilly..." Laurence tells me stopping the group.
It stopped at an open area that looked like there were actual trails that split three different ways.

"That's gonna take us all summer to go through!" Garroth says.
I sighed and glanced at Michael.
He nodded.
"We split up..." I say. A few people were a little surprised.

"What?! Lillian... I don't think tha--"

"Listen here. I am NOT going to stop here after how much we have already gone through. So you can either come with..." I interrupt and point toward the three pathways.

"... Or go run home. Choose." I announce now pointing in the direction we came from.
Dipper, Mabel, and Michael came first.
Then Pacifica and Garroth.
"Come on Laurence. You go home alone or come with us." I say.
He sighs.

"Okay.... What's your plan Lilly." he says. I smirk and give everyone their own group.
"Dipper, Mabel, and Pacifica... You go right." I say.

"Michael and I will take left while Garroth and Laurence take the center path. Got it?" I say.
They nod.
"Now.... We all can meet back here in..." I thought for a moment.
"Three days tops. If any of us aren't back before the Sun goes down on the fourth day... We half to keep moving. Got it guys?"
They all nod in understandmenr.

We assess to a few things and we set off.
"Why didn't you go with Dipper or the others? Why did you choose me to go with you?" Michael asked.

"Because it would be nice to... Try and spend SOME sort of time with my brother." I reply.
He smirks.
The path curved every now and then and after a bit it got a little...
Tiring.

We stopped to tale a break after walking for a few hours.
"You know... You are pretty good with a sword. Not many people these days are good at that... Or into that for that matter." Michael comments.

"Yeah well... When your forced to battle with it since the age of 5... You kinda get used to it." I say.
"Yeah... I guess so... It also depends on the person." he says standing up.

I raise an eye brow. "We just say down... You sure you don't want to--"

He pulls out his sword. I knew what he wanted.
I stand as well pulling my sword out.
"You sure you wanna do this?" i asked. Then he swing and I blocked.
"What you think I can't?" he asked being a bit cocky.
"Now I didn't say that... Its just..." I start and I swing but he blocks.
"Last time you didn't really win...." I say.
"Yes... Last time... This is this time." he says and I roll my eyes.
We fought out and I had to admit, he did have a pretty good angle and swing but... Its not always about that... Sometimes you gotta use something else.
Your Brain.

He swings and I dodge it.
"Look who can't handle it no-- Oof!"
I trip him knocking the sword out of his hand and he fall's on his behind.

"I wouldn't get cocky just yet." I say. He chuckles as I had my sword pointed toward him.

I help him up and we put away our swords.
"At least I put up a good fight right?" he says.
I giggled.
"I will give you that Michael." I say. We continued on for another 3 or 4 hours until we decided to call it a day.

( Hey guys... So I am sorry this is a shorter chapter but I won't be uploading for the next few days. I was lucky to get something out just now. Its not as long as usual and I am sorry.
Just know I have a lot planned for future chapters. Ok? Ok.... )
