No one knew Margo like i did.
I have been in love with him since i first laid my eyes on him.

I was only 9.

I moved into this beautiful town located in North Carolina.

When i jumped out my dad's truck.

I viewed him a pale blue eyed boy staring ever so deep into my honey brown eyes.

My face instantly turned red.

I ran inside the big white beautiful home without a hesitation.

Two weeks.

[knocked]

I sat on the rugged staircase my father made his way to open the massive sunlight door to a lovely women with tight brunette curls and a tall man with big pearly whites.

The stranger pushed forward the mysterious boy my eyes wished to see again.

"This is our son, Margo."

"Such a unique name, why don't you make friends with my lovely daughter, Mac."

He points to me.

Jumpy as my father seemed he walked the two lively people further into the house as they leave him... Margo behind.

He slowly makes his way towards me with both his hands behind him.

He pulls a flower with white soft petals... A lily before me as a wonderful gesture.

His ocean blue eyes grew bigger.

"Thank you."

My lips curled to a smile.

Me and Margo always been together since that very day.

We slowly viewed the wonders in our little town.

We would ride our bikes, build stuff in Margo's garage visit the neighborhoods park and go into the woods to play hide n' seek.

I always sneaked over to his house in the middle of the night to read scary stories to him.

This i would enjoy but only to see the reaction of terror in his face.

There were times, i was about to leave and he would hold me back to ask if can stay with him a little longer or until he fell asleep.

As a good friend i stayed by his side till he fell into a deep sleep.

Margo and i started drifting away when the 9th grade we both stop seeing each other due to the fact we found "new" friends.

Until the beginning of 12th grade.

I ran inside my car holding back my tears.

I knew i couldn't handle it anymore.

Tears ran down my rosy pink cheeks.

The rain poured really hard as it matched the way i felt.

We were both sad i could feel it.

Someone knocked on the window.

I looked down shallow.

"Go away! "

"Mac, it's me, Margo! Open the door!"

I looked up to see him the boy i grew up with.

My hand extended to the car lock.

I pushed the button to
unlock.

I moved myself to the passenger seat.

He jumped right in.

"What do you want?

"i want to-

"Please Margo i don't want to get hurt again."

"i won't hurt you, Mac.....i know what he did. You don't deserve that."

My eyes looked deep into his.
He closed his eyes shut and slowly, gently, held out his arms thinking i would reject him.

With this my arms flew around his body.

My chest was against his warmth and i felt safe once more.

"I'm sorry."

"Just hug me, Margo."

I've always had eyes for Margo and somehow i knew he always had eyes for me.

Margo never once left me. He stood by my side through the good and the bad.

I heard someone knocked on the door.

I opened the door to find Margo on his knees holding a beautiful lily flower, just like he did the very first time.

"Mac- will will you be my girlfr- girlfriend?"

As he his sky blue eyes looked ever so deep into my honey brown eyes.

I smiled huge holding back my giggles and tears.

"Yes i do, Margo."

"You made me the happiest man alive."

He lifted me up from my feet and twirled me around while i blushed.

He starts rapidly leaving small kisses all over my face.

Margo always knew what to say.

Even if he was very shy about everything.

Which i later became so fond of how much love can truly change someone for the better.

         Prom night.

I grabbed Margo's big hand and slowly place his hand softly to my waist and pulled closer to my body as we both moved sway to the solo music for about 15 mins.

Our prom took place in a hotel that our private school paid for. You can choose to stay in with whomever you like apparently.

I grabbed Margo's hand gently and lead him to the elevator. We both watched as drunken up couples moved ever so 'sloppy'.

Margo & i made contact to each other since we have always avoid alcohol.

Margo clicked on level 5.

The elevator opened. We both walked into the rugged blue hallway and turned to every door looking for room 254.

"Over here!" i yelled from down the hallway.

He smiled big.

"Yes finally, i can sleep!"

I giggled as he made his way towards me.
