I stepped out of the bright taxi car with Margo right beside me. We looked up to view the beautifully justified building above us; the court room.
He walked up the long steps letting me follow behind. Once reaching the massive dark brown wood doors, he placed his hand gently on the door with elegant silver lining attached to it.
"Are you ready to go in?"
"Yes, I'm ready to face her."
"Okay."
Margo held out his hand to me walking me through the rows of some random people just going to watch it all go down along with the jury box filled.
Finally making it to the stand, I look back once more watching Margo as he made his way to the very front row to my side of the court room.
Afraid of the appearance of Ten. I greeted the judge who was a man with a such a straight face ready to see the showdown in either happiness or flames. But honestly if ten's involved their will be flames.
"You may all sit down, the court room is about start, I want silence."
My lawyer Jefferson waved me over to sit right beside him.
I sit quietly, I felt as blood ran quickly through my veins. I had fear. Fear to see my kidnapper. Margo pulled himself to the edge of the seat and extended his arm to place his hand on mine. I felt clam and safe once more.
"Bring her in."
I breathe in once more.
I watched as she walked in wearing red plain jail clothing to symbolize how dangerous she is. Her black long hair waved back and forth as she move. Her jaw was in her place once again but with a scar I haven't seen before. Her eyes drew directly at me in intensely and she smiled gently my way. Her hands handcuffed went up as a reaction but we're quickly shot down almost like she forced herself to be controlled.
She sat right beside her lawyer.
Martin walked in just in time with his two bodyguards behind him. He sat right beside Margo quietly.
"We are gathered here today in the release of Ten whether it be or not."
"Lawyer Brady your up."
"Yes, your honor. Good Morning jury of the court. Ten an 18 year old girl was a accused of being insane and controlling over her ex-girlfriend who claims that she was held by her own will to be her girlfriend and was constantly sexually abused almost every night for two months at a unknown penthouse along with being injected by many strong drugs that can knock out a human being under seconds. I would like to bring up Malia up to the stand to prove of this false world she created."
A lady with her hair being held up by a bun and wearing glasses walked up.
I became tense.
Who is this woman? How does she know Ten? I've never seen this woman in my life.
She stood in front of the courtroom a man appeared with a Bible in hand.
"Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?"
"I do."
"You may proceed."
He said under his breathe.
She sat in the wooden box beside the judge. Lawyer Brady approached her.
"Good morning Malia."
"Good morning."
"As you know I would like to ask some questions."
"Go ahead."
"How do you know ten? Please tell it to the jury will you?"
"I am Ten's counselor and have been for almost 7 years now."
"Can you please notify that she would never hurt Mac-"
My lawyer Jefferson tensed up.
"Your honor, he's referring to my client in a negative consultation."
The judge nods.
"Sustain. Ask again."
"Can you please describe how she's been lately?"
"Why yes, Ten's been a very working progress, with her anger issues and taking her pills makes her a better person and has been for a very long time."
"Would you ever think that Ten was ever capable of those things that we're said before?"
"Absolutely not, it would be impossible for an 18 year old girl to be accused with all those creations of a mad girl."
"One last question. How many times have you been seeing Ten during those two months?"
"Almost three times a week and there we're times she would say with me till the entire night she has also been under observation. So it's not possible she was constantly abused every night especially since she was watched."
"Thank you Malia."
"You're welcome."
"That's not true, Jefferson please make this stop."
I said quietly.
"We'll get them."
Lawyer Jefferson your up.
He stood up.
"I would like to bring up Martin Garrix to the stand."
I looked to Ten to see her expression. Her face became more serious once his name was mention as if she knew exactly who he was.
Martin dressed in a black and white suit walked over to the stand swearing under oath to tell the truth. Nervous he sat beside the judge. His eyes were seen as a portal into his soul ready to speak the truth.
"Good morning Martin."
"Good morning."
"Can you tell the jury who you are?"
"Yes, I'm a Martin Garrix a very known DJ artist, I'm twenty years old."
"Can you please tell me your relations between you and Ten?"
"At one point Ten and I were dating. I meet her at one of my raves. She had blonde hair at the time, wearing a flared white dress with high heels and looked a lot older than her real age."
Lawyer Brady stood up quickly.
"Your honor he's talking about my client."
"Overruled continue, Martin."
