Nico ran back to bunker 9.

why did he have to leave, he cursed himself.

He trudged along the wild path to bunker nine. Festus welcomed him with a puff of smoke but then his head drooped. Nico knew Leo shared a connection with the gigantic metal dragon and somehow he knew it was more than that, it was almost like an empathy link.

Nico opened the cold steel doors of the bunker, and just as before hot air blasted through the doors as if it was a furnace. By the time the sun had fallen and it was dusk. The bunker was usually filled with demigods but since it was time for Capture the flag, the enormous bunker was deserted. It seemed they were the only ones left.

Nico descended from the stairs and ran to the spot where he had earlier met Leo. He stretched his life-sensing ability to locate him but his search proved unsuccessful.

'Leo', He called out in desperation even though he knew Leo wasn't there. His voice cracked.

'Leo,please. Come out.' He knew it was hopeless.

Nico went to the next place he knew where Leo spent most of his time : The Hephaestus Cabin.

I'm sorry, i'll try to make the next chapter longer, I swear on the river Styx . Meanwhile, I love all my readers and hope you can forgive me with the slow updates.
