Nico ran to the Hephaestus cabin as fast as he could even forgetting that he could have shadow traveled.
He bounded through the worn out path beside the lake as his legs started to ache. Come on you can do this...just a few more meters...Nico said between his heavy breathing.
At last he stood before the Hephaestus cabin.
As Nico entered the enormous cabin...he ignored the blasting furnace with only one aim in his mind. 'find Leo'.
He searched for a living entity within the cabin. But the thing was the cabin ran several levels deep until it hit the bedrock. Probably where they get the heat to weld metals. Nico thought.
As Nico began to descend once more he picked the faint signs of life just below him. Without any haste he shadow traveled to the spot where he had felt that faint vibe.
The room was not very big. At the center stood a large water tank. And crouched behind it was leo.
Nico's heart hammered in his chest numbing his ears. He could only see Leo sitting on the floor staring at the wall. The room was lit with just a lamp in the center filled with Greek fire.
'Nico. . .' Leo murmured as if he were asleep.
Nico walked cautiously to Leo's side and too his hands in his.
'I'm here for you'
'I'm sorry'
'you don't have to be'
Leos heart throbbed loudly as he tried to get up.
Then nico noticed he was bleeding. And the slight glimmer of a blade in Leo's other hand made his heart skip a beat.
' wait ' Nico said.
He carefully removed the blade and threw it against the wall.
' you wont need that anymore.'

'Is it alright if we shadow travel' nico asked.
'sure'
They shadow traveled to the Hades cabin.
They're probably feasting their victory of capture the flag in the great hall. Nico thought.
nico carefully arranged Leo in his bed and washed his wounds with some medicine.
He turned to Leo with some ambrosia.
' Here have this you'll feel better'
After he bandaged his wounds the blood clotted pretty fast thanks to the ambrosia and nectar.
'promise me you'll never cut again.' Nico said breaking the silence.
'I promise on the river Styx' Leo muttered as he sat up straight.
'Do you want to talk about it?' nico calmly said.
Leo didn't reply. Nico took that as as no.
'come on we better get going, the others will be worried sick since we bunked capture the flag' nico said as he held Leo's hand and walked out of the Hades cabin with Leo in tow.
