"That's what I said" said a short dark skinned boy "They'll be at the school" The boy took a step back as a huge muscled man stood up.

"Is it really worth going through all this trouble?"

"there's only one way to find out"

"what about the kid from True Blood?"

"he's a potential candidate as well, it would benefit us to test him too" the small boy took a step back to let the big guy pass.

The large man grinned walking out the door and entering a bar filled with group members, all of them having something that spoke their group name, a hat, bandanna, jacket or tattoo. "gather the troops" he said as the boy from before walked right behind him "it's time to make a move"

"Bad Omen?" asked Kazuki holding a newspaper.

"another rising group" said Trevor "word is they conquered another town and are moving onto this one"

Guen sighed smoking her cigarette while hearing the two talk further up on the bleachers.

"okay but what's that got to with us?" asked Kazuki.

"nothing really" joked Trevor "but that guy said someone had their eye on you, maybe they put a hit on you guys and these guys are looking to cash in. I mean, why else would they come to this town, not like we have large enough groups here to increase their rep or anything"

Guen sighed raising her arms to stretch them "why us? what did we do?"

"hey you!"

Guen snapped dropping her cigarette and turning to see Ean walking up to them "great it's him again"

Ean smiled walking up the bleachers and sitting down next to Guen "you know those cancer sticks are gonna kill you someday right?"

Guen glared at him "if that doesn't your smile will"

Ean chuckled as Kazuki called out his name.

"what was the name of the group that wiped you guys out?" asked Kazuki putting down the paper.

Ean's smile faded as he tried to remember "now that you mention it, I can't seem to recall what they called themselves" he said laughing.

Trevor stood up and nudged at Kazuki "look" he said pointing at the end of the field, on the other side of the fence stood a small group of people, each with the same jackets that read "blood hounds".

"those guys again" said Kazuki noting that they were staring right at them "I knew this was going to happen" he stood up.

"wait" said Ean freezing him "these guys never run alone, they're probably trying to lure you out of the school so they can ambush you"

"he's not wrong" said Trevor "these guys have over a hundred members, they wouldn't just hang outside the school if they weren't up to something"

"then let's go" said Guen standing up "better be smart than stupid, let's go get some lunch or something"

Ean smiled stepping out of the way to let her pass "this girl speaks my language" he said following her.

"Kazuki glared at the guys outside the fence and smiled when Trevor flipped them off.

The next few days seemed to be the same as before, boring lectures, boring instructors, more learning but something odd was happening, more and more group members started appearing. Sometimes it'd be just one but other times, the streets would be filled with them. This kind of gathering would obviously draw in some cops but despite them sending the groups home, they would be back the next day and the day they were meant to meet up with Eddy was soon approaching.
