Guen Idols

A few days passed since the incident. The firefighters that showed up to put out the fire at the warehouse brought the ambulance with them to pick Eddy and his team up, they found Ean alive in the back of the warehouse with a few burns and bruises, they were lucky to be alive. 

Kazuki and Ean were let out of the hospital for minor wounds. Eddy, Trevor and Genkaku had to stay a bit longer till they recovered.

Ean and Kazuki sat at the waiting room, hoping to hear good news about their friends "That girl said that they wanted Guen for her rare ability, any idea what they were referring to?" asked Ean looking down. He leaned up when he got no response "if you know anything, it would help to let me know"

Kazuki sighed, he knew something but it seemed to bother him "Guen is" he paused thinking on how he could explain it "Guen is special, ever since she was little she's been special. She moved to that small city where we grew up before we did. She was like the rest of us, normal but her family wasn't. They would always keep to themselves, they would never let us inside their house and though Guen said it was because we would bring in dirt, we knew there was something else going on" he stopped talking when the man with long white hair entered the hospital, the same man that led the Unlawful Cops.

Somewhere not too far from them, in a town filled with poverty and famine, Scarlet stepped out of a cab in front of an old falling apart church. "classy" she said pushing the door open. Her teammates were already there, sitting down on the various benches. She walked down the aisle while everyone watched.

"took you long enough" said Casaday "I expected more from a former leader of the Tyrants"

Scarlet smiled down at Casaday "Glad to see you still have that big mouth of yous, maybe one day you can put it to good use and get a boyfriend"

"enough" Said Asmodeus standing in the front altar "It's not polite to bicker in the house of god"

Scarlet smiled looking at Guen chained to the back wall "and what god might we be worshipping exactly?" she asked as the other teammates leaned in to hear his answer, they apparently did not know either.

"Don't worry yourselves with the details, all you need to know is that were almost done" replied Asmodeus "now Scarlet, do please have a seat. Were finally ready to begin" He turned around to look at Guen , the sinister grin on his face getting wider and wider.

Back at the hospital Ean and Kazuki spoke to the leader of the Unlawful Cops about what they saw and witnessed.

"Poisonous Blade and The Queen of Thorns." said the man with white putting his hand to his chin trying to asses the situation "Scarlet Whip isn't a pushover, you're lucky to have made it out of there alive but, why would they gather an army of rare ability users? this much group activity to go on unnoticed by the government is odd. It might be wise to notify the authorities about whats going on, they might be able to help get your friend back. As it stands right now with the help of Scarlet Whip, Poisonous Blade would be considered a class 3 threat, that alone would get the government's attention"

Ean and Kazuki sighed staring at one another "things weren't suppose to be this way" said Ean remembering back to the night when they took Guen "A simple stroll around town, that was it" he clenched his fists slamming them on his legs "I can't believe I let them take her, how could I be so weak!!"

Kazuki thought about what Ean was saying but he wasn't mad at Ean, he was mad at himself. He lost to the girl with the butterflies and then got knocked out by Scarlet, what right did he have to be mad at Ean. 

"The two of you have done enough" said the Unlawful Leader "its time you let us take care of the rest" he leaned in "don't worry, we'll get your friend back safe and sound" he said walking off to the main counter to get permission to see his brother.

Ean sighed "so what is it that makes Guen special?"

Kazuki waited for the Unlawful leader to go down the hall and vanish out of sight before continuing his story "Guen's last name isn't Idols,  its Edolas, she's one of the last living members of the Edo clan. Her people used to live peacefully in a city to the east but they were obsessed with the work of god, god this, god that. they would constantly perform rituals to try and bring themselves closer to god but they would always end up with death. Their obsession and efforts led them to the mass suicide. They grew to believe that the only way to become closer to god was by offering up their lives but not everyone thought like this. their were a small few who believed that by sacrificing others they would bring god closer to them and to a certain extent it worked. for every life sacrificed their god would grant them power. They grew greedy, they feared that the government would try and take this power for themselves, so the clan elders decided to create one big power source. By sacrificing nearly all of their people they created a necklace that shared their gods name. The necklace of Daglathor granted the wearer immense power but at the cost of their sanity. The first person to put it on was the main elder who used its power to try and challenge the government but failed to do so and instead went on a rampage destroying his entire city and clan until he died. The necklace fueled the wearer with power but consumed his life energy, the longer he used the power the shorter his life was. The only survivors of this clan vowed to keep it a secret and split up, hiding their clan's shame they hid the necklace with Guen and sent her to the south where we met her. Those two men that came to our town, came looking for that same necklace and they immediately killed her caretakers. Guen thought of the necklace as a priceless heirloom and put it on so they couldn't have it. The two men were faced with a devastating power that they simply weren't prepared for. Guen fought the two men destroying everything and everyone around them, my dad included. Eddy's parents did everything they could to help calm Guen down but they were no match for her either. The only person who was able to calm her down was a relative of hers named Isis Edolas who saved her by absorbing most of the power into her own body. Having the power split, the necklace broke and Guen turned back to normal. When we awoke in the hospital a few days later that same woman came and explained everything to us. That was why Eddy vowed to get revenge on those men and probably why these people are after Guen now, they want that power"
