Part 2: Bree's life
One morning Bree got up and did her training exercise and then Mr. Davenport dropped her off at Horseland.
Bree: Hey everyone.
Will: Hey Bree
Sarah: Hi Bree
Will: Everyone get tacked up and get ready to ride, we're going on a trail ride.
They all went to the tack room and got their tack and got their horses tacked up.
Molly: What trail are we taking Will?
Will: We will take the east trail up to the meadow.
Alma: Sounds like fun.
Bree: Can't wait.
Then they all got on their horses.
Bailey: Can we race?
Will: Sure.
They got the horses galloping and made it to the trail and kept going. Sarah was first and Will was second as usual and Bree came in third.
Bree: Great job Sarah.
Will: Nice riding Sarah.
Alma: Great race.
Chloe: That wasn't a test of riding or horses either.
Zoey: Yeah it only matters when there's a panel of judges.
Molly: Relax you two, it was just for fun.
Bree: It's beautiful up here.
Sarah: Sure is.
They got off their horses and sat down and looked at the scenery. After about half an hour Will got up.
Will: Guys we should head back now, it's almost lunch time.
Sarah: Will's right.
They got back up on their horses.
Bailey: Who wants to race back?
Bree: You're on.
Sarah: Let's do this.
They started galloping and Bree and Star for ahead of Sarah and they were in the lead and they made it back to Horseland first.
Bree: We did it!
Sarah: Great job Bree.
Will: That was some great riding.
Bree: Thanks.
They all got off their horses and took them to the stable, untacked them, groomed and fed them, and then went inside to eat. After they are they tacked up the horses for the lesson. They worked on dressage.
Will: Nice ride Bree. You and Star really work well together.
Bree: Good girl Star.
Adam showed up and after Bree was done untacking she went out there and seen him talking to Chloe.
Adam: Hey Bree.
Bree: Am I interrupting?
Chloe: No. I gotta go. Bye Bree.
Bree: Bye Chloe.
She and Adam left. When they got home Adam set his phone down and went to the lab and he got a text it was from Chloe. He came back.
Bree: How could you be dating Chloe?
Adam: How do you know that?
Bree: I looked at your text messages. Why didn't you tell me?
Adam: Because I thought you would be mad at me. But you shouldn't go through my phone.
Bree: I'm sorry.
Adam walked away.
Bree: Adam! Adam!
She started crying. Mr. Davenport ordered Chinese food.
Mr. Davenport: Guys dinner is here!
Bree was the first up and got her food and sat at the table. During dinner Bree and Adam didn't talk to each other. After dinner Mr. Davenport told Adam and Bree to stay.
Mr. Davenport: What's going on with you two?
Adam: We're not talking.
Mr. Davenport: Why?
Bree: Because I went through his text messages and found out he's dating a friend from the stable.
The next day they practiced for a competition and set up for it. The next day the riders for there early and got tacked up. The other riders came. Then people came to watch and the competition was about to begin. Bree noticed Adam wasn't there. She started fiddling with her hands.
Will: You nervous?
Bree: A little and my brother isn't here he usually supports me.
Will: You'll be great.
By the time it was Bree's turn Adam showed up. At the end it was time to announce the winner.
Announcer: The winner is Bree Davenport of Horseland Stables.
Everyone clapped and she rode in the ring to get her trophy and Star got a first place ribbon. Then they called second and third place and then the audience started leaving. Bree got off her horse and went to the stable. She untacked Star and put her in the stall and fed her and the rest of the riders did that with their horses. Bree was congratulated by her friends.
Bree: Thank you and congratulations to you too Alma, you got second place.
Then she went over to Mr. Davenport, Chase, and Adam.
Adam: Bree you did great.
Bree: Thank you.
Chase: You and Star were beautiful together.
Bree: Thank you Chase.
Mr. Davenport: You were great.
Bree: Thanks.
Bree went back and got Star's first place ribbon and hung it up in her stall and then went and got in the car.
When they got home she went to her room and put the trophy in the trophy case. Adam came in.
Adam: Bree, I'm sorry I should've told you.
Bree: I'm sorry too. I shouldn't of gone through your phone.
Then they hugged each other.
Adam: You and me forever?
Bree: Forever.
