It didn't take long for Angie to get over it..or so it seemed

'Hey Angie'.... I said...waiting for her reply...'hi'..she said...like I was a stranger...
She didn't start a convo...she just kept on reading her novel...
'I left...'.

I don't know what Dan was trying to prove..but I wouldn't prove him right
Betty had just walked in
'Hey betty'..I said..'hey you'..she said..'I just saw Dan..what happened' she asked me
I gave her this..i-dont-care-face and she understood...
Then Mario walked in
(Mario is a guy that liked he two years after I entered high school..I never really gave him a chance..but then..I was willing to take that risk)
Mario saw me from afar..he approached me..leaving behind his group
'Hey Angel..'..he said smiling..he always smiled...'hey baby face'.. I said..laughing silently..that was the nickname I had given him..and he seemed to like it..
'I was wandering...'...he started...
Without thinking I said..'yes..I'll be free tomorrow...'...his smile became wider... I smiled back..and left...I was still thinking about Dan.. But I wanted to try something new...something I had never tried before.....I was ready...
I woke up..feeling refreshed...I then remembered Mario...I sighed heavily...
I got up..and dressed up..tried as much as possible to look simple..
I took a cab and when I got there..Mario was waiting for Me outside....such a gentleman.. I said to myself
'Hey Angel..' He said..smiling...always smiling
'Hi Mario..'I said..smiling back
He took me in..and started talking
'I've liked u for a while..but Dan was in my way..'he said..trying not to smile..'angel'..he said...after some minutes...'would you be my girlfriend'....I stopped...I was surprised..because I didn't expect him to ask me immediately...
Then I stood up..and left

I felt like punching myself...why was I so fast...I knew better...I think I provoked her....I called Dave and told him to meet me immediately..

Dave came almost immediately...'I messed up'..I said to him
'Don't tell me you asked her...'I cut him off 'yes..I did..i don't know what got into me'...
'Its aii bro...don't kill yourself yet....what did she do'
'She walked away..she walked away without saying a word'..I told him...
Dave paid for the food I couldn't eat..and drove me home
