“Finally” he said, as he reached the 100th door in this ever so immense building. After opening the doors to 99 other room in search of any clues to where he was or why, he thought that this last door was to be no different from the last. So without any further hesitation, he grabbed the doorknob and began to open the last door with no expectation of finding but another empty room.

As the door came to a complete stop after fully opening, the boy became frozen, motionless and speechless as he looked toward the window across from the door. With tears running down her rose-colored cheeks and a large knife pressed against her chest, all the boy could do was save her so maybe he could finally get some answers to where he is and why. The girl was shocked when she noticed the knife was no longer pointed at her heart. At that moment, she collapsed unconscious on the ground but unharmed to the boy’s amazement. Now with time beginning to move at a more normal pace, the boy the thought that the only way he could begin to get answers out of the mysterious girl was to wait for her to get up so they could talk. With that, he pick her up and carried her all the way to an abandoned house not far from the large building that had a bed in it and placed her on it and then fell asleep on a nearby couch.

Elsewhere, a battle ensued between 2 teens and something so horrible it can not be described. In the hands of the boy was a large metal pipe found on the ground which he was now using to defend himself and the small shy girl hiding behind him.

“When I lunge toward whatever that is, i want you to run to that house off  to my left,” he said to the girl.

When he saw that she had acknowledged his command, he looked toward that thing with fire in his eyes and launched into action. When he began moving and the the girl did the same, he noticed that the creature that once threatened their lives started to move away from them. Thats when the boy stopped and the creature then disappeared. The boy then found the little girl hiding exactly where she was told and he began to look for any injuries she might have gotten. Now with that done, they proceeded on their journey to find to same answers as the others even though they had no idea that there were others in this strange and scary world.

There is one other group walking these same barren lands yet they are unaware of any others as well. To their knowledge, they are completely lost. Two questions plague all of these stranded and confused teens; where are they and why. Once they get the answers to those questions, just maybe could they find a way back home. For this to happen, they must understand each other first.
