“I wonder where we are.” Eva said to break the silence after quietly walking for several hours now.
“I wish I knew honestly” Cameron respond now actually thinking about what’s going on. “I just know that whatever that thing was, it hopefully wont bother us for awhile now.”
“I guess you are right.” Eva began. “So I’m sorry but what is your name since you haven’t told me yet? My name is Eva, Eva Sharpe.”
“Yeah you are right, sorry. My name is Cameron Phoenix.” He said while stopping to look around. “Hey, wait do you see that?” He quickly asked Eva as he pointed toward what he was referring to.
Not far from them stood a tall white building with nothing around it. Once Eva saw it, both of them began walking to it thinking that maybe someone would be there and they could answer their questions about the strange world that they are in. To no surprise the building seemed too quiet for anyone to be in it. So after looking around for a bit, they found what looks like a break room. I had a couch and a few chairs, a refrigerator that seem to be working, and a small backpack.
“Well guess we can stay here for the night since I would rather not be walking around outside in the dark.” Cameron started. “And we also have no clue if there is anything worse than that thing that attacked us earlier out there.”
Eva fell on the couch with a thud. “Thank you. I needed a break from the walking. By the way, nice find on the building. Especially since you found me this soft couch.” She said while getting comfortable.
Cameron sat down to rest his legs. “No problem. I’m pretty tired as well. So I was wondering how you ended up under that tree where I found you.” Said Cameron.
“I don’t really know myself to tell you the truth. All I remember was me riding backwards on my skateboard and my friends yelling at me. The next thing I know is that you find me under that tree asleep.” Eva says while trying to stay awake. “What about you?”
“I’m still really confused about it honestly.” Cameron starts to say. “I remember walking home after a baseball game and the wind started to pick up for no reason. Then I see the strange white light next to a tree to my side and heard a girl crying so I went to go check it out. But as soon as I got close to the tree, the white light got so bright that I couldn’t see anything. And then when the light dimmed, I found myself in this crazy place. After walking around for a bit I saw you under the tree and hoped that you might have been able to help me figure out where I was. But you are in the same boat as me so now we are here.” He finished.
“I know. Thank you for saving me and letting come along with you.” Eva said with a calm voice. “I hope that we will figure out how to get out of here soon because this place creeps me out.”
“I agree with you there.” Cameron spoke softly. “Well you should get some rest because we may not be able to stay her for long. Goodnight Eva.”
With that, both of them fell asleep. An empty quiet fill the halls of the large building. A shared goal is beginning to appear between all the players that have been introduced. A chance meeting is soon to come but first, the last group must seek the answers to their first questions before attempting to escape this unkown world.
