A Day in my life ~ book 1

A year's ending

2015 has been a pretty good year for me. A new class, new friends and new drama! Though I can honestly say that some days this year I've absolutely hated, massively hated. Then there were the opposite days that I loved, massively loved.

My last few days of 2015 were super amazing. After coming back to Sydney from port Macquarie my dad, Ronan and I got ready to go watch the cricket. Sydney Thunder playing Adelaide Strikers. Luckily we were all members so we got to sit in the members stand with Kaiden, Micah and the rest of their family. The television cameras kept coming past us and Kaiden and I would wave frantically, cause we are totally celebrities. Anyway we were there super early and I got a text from Max saying he and T were coming to. Kaiden kept wanting to meet my friends, or as he would say 'friends'. We were getting ice creams he asked if Max was tall or short. I said short, cause I swear he is shorter than me! Anyway after I said that Kaiden said "maybe you can't find him cause he is too short" as I laughed Kaiden began to look at the floor and call out "Elizas friend, where are youuuu?" That made me laugh like a maniac. Everyone was staring at me but who cares, I was having fun.
This all happened in the line for ice cream. Oh I forgot, while we were in the line the song, shut up and dance with me, came on. I was dancing and lip syncing {okay maybe my lip syncing had noise but oh well} and every time the part where it sings "shut up and dance with me" Kaiden would say "NO". He acted embarrassed but I knew he was laughing on the inside, well he better had been ;)

A quater of the way through the first quarter Max, T and I decided to meet up. I was on my phone {okay it was my dads phone but whatever} and T jumped out and scared me. I nearly peed myself! I'm such a scaredy cat! Ronan and Micah kept coming and bugging us and they were so annoying. Before I could tell them to go, T whispered something to them and they ran off laughing. I was real puzzled but I didn't want to fight so I let it go. The rest of the game was spent partly with max and T and partly with Kaiden The seats. Luckily Sydney thunder won easily! I used to hate cricket but now I understand the rules its actually pretty fun. I mean no way is it as amazing as netball but I do like it.

When we were walking out of the stadium we bumped into Max, T and their families. Ronan was playing with their little brothers and T, Max and I were chatting, well I was mostly trying to ignore Kaiden. Turns out the thing T whispered to Ronan and Micah was that Max was my boyfriend. When I found out anger instantly raised to my head. She knows how I feel, and she comes back with that?!?!?! When we split our different ways I went to hold Thalias hand and help her jump kick Micah in the face, long story.
We arrived home at 11:23 and we were all completely zonked.

In the morning T and I had a massive discussion of skype. I was sitting there knowing what T said was wrong but deep in my heart I wished she was right.
(Tiana) Im sorry I told Ronan and Micah that. I was just sorta jealous and doing something mean to make me feel better. But it made me feel worse
(Eliza) look T its okay. Kaiden was being a butt but whatever
(Tiana)I really messed up. Now max hates me
(Eliza) you've messed up? Really now?
(Tiana) Okay okay but I'm sure I've made him absolutely hate me. At least he still likes u.
(Eliza) yeah... right after me being a complete butthead
(Tiana) trust me Elie its hard not to like u
(Eliza)yeah...right
(Tiana) I'm not gonna convince u am I
(Eliza) Nope, im too annoying! The reason why I wasn't as upset when u know what happened was I thought I had a mini crush on someone but now im not so sure anymore

(Tiana) thats cool. #:/# is actually a really nice guy, who I really sweet, kind, smart, sporty. Its a good thing you didn't say anything before or things could have gotten really bad.
(Eliza) Well I don't even know if I like him. I mean I knew I liked max
(Tiana) well I think everyone is better of being friends
(Eliza) Well Max called u one of his besties
(Tiana) Well we're pretty good then. He likes u and I'm one of his bestys
(Eliza) T! U know he doesnt like me! Your the one who told me he told u he didn't
(Tiana) He said he didn't on Skype. But at the cricket it was pretty obvious he did.
(Eliza) yeah...right
(Tiana) Literally all he was doing was texting u. And he was like obsessed with trying to find u, That's all we did for the first half hour. And then the whole whacking u with the sticks was a hint
(Eliza) he whacked u too! And u whacked me as well!
(Tiana) And also when u were taking forever to come meet us he was like "Tiana will go and then I will be forced to go" He whacked me like 5 times max. And I only hit u cause ur my bestie and I can do that
(Eliza) that doesn't make sense "And also when u were taking forever to come meet us he was like "Tiana will go and then I will be forced to go"" how does that mean he likes me?!?! See it doesnt

That's where the conversation ended.

That afternoon I went to Arianas for a sleep over. She got a bow for christmas and she was teaching me how to use it. It was a recurve bow which is different to the ones at camp. I warned her that I would fail, but I surprisingly did quite well. I hit the board almost every time and I was the first person to hit the inner circle!!
After that we went inside and listened to music while skyping Luke. It was really funny cause we kept hanging up calls and making reasons why. The second time we did it we made up a story about aliens and it took half an hour to write! Then we were on a group call with Luke and Rose. We tried staying absolutely silent and then we decided we would leave them thinking we were there and go for a walk to the shops. First we picked up some potatoes and then we got some ice creams {white choc magnum for me and golden gaytime fot Ari} some frogs, lollipops, chocolate {milk for Ari and white for me}and some lollies {gobbstoppers for me and skittles for Ari}. We used most of the potato money, they were expensive ;)

The rest of the time was spent talking, skyping, listening to music, borrowing books, cooking gnocchi, eating and watching Jonny English. I had so much fun! And since never did we climb trees I can safely say I didnt get stuck!

When I got home from Ari's I was texting T.
(Tiana) There's something I really need to ask u... (worry emoji)
(Eliza) Yeah, The (worry emoji) face is panicking me
(Tiana) Would u be up to coming for a sleepover tonight??? Yeah that was the point ;)
(Eliza) I would love to but im not sure if my mum will allow it after yesterday. But she may say yes if ur parents email cause mum normally does when that happens
(Tiana) what if she calls? Can you tell me your home number?
(Eliza) Sure. 8768421
(Tiana) Thats not working. Could it be 9769421?
(Eliza) I am such an idiot! The number is 9768421
(Tiana) LOL we both got it wrong. Oh and we're going to the beach the next morning so u could also come to that if u wanted
(Eliza) Omg cool as! What did my dad say?
(Tiana) And don't worry we just cleaned the car so it isn't disgusting. He said he talk to ur mum and then ud get back to me
(Eliza) Kay, fingers crossed she says yes. If im allowed to come to the beach with u, will u come in the water with me
(Tiana) I always go in the water. Just not to far in
(Eliza) at least hip deep?
(Tiana) Probably. There's an ocean pool at the beach we would go to, and that is awesome! The first time we went there it was high tide and we were sitting by the pool getting smashed by waves which was pretty awesome
(Eliza) calling mum at work to ask now. But she is with a customer and is gonna call back
(Eliza) she hasnt called back yet. ARGH

Turns out mum had to work flat chat for the next 2 hours and didnt get time off till she got home. I was allowed to go so after dinner my dad drove me over to their house. For the first hour and a bit we played Mario cart 8 against Nick and his friend Luce. I failed miserably. When Luce went home we went to go set up my air mattress. We found an opening called "open for a woosh" so we spent ages saying "woosh it" which by the way sounds a little rude. Then we watched a little bit of pitch perfect before 'going to bed'. We had the lights off and we wrote our groups names on little slips of paper. {Me, Tiana, Zane, Max, Sara, Ellie, Cam, Annie, Kirk and Emanuel}. Then we randomly picked a girls name and a guys name. What was really annoying was my name kept coming with Emanuels, and he annoys me so bad! We did it multiple times laughing at the results every time.

In the morning we left quite early for the beach. After the longggggggg car trip the beach was amazing. The wave pool, actually getting T to like the water and want to go out further, playing baseball/cricket and almost hitting the same man three times, lunch at the cafe bar thingy and most if all hanging with T and not worrying about anything else.
After some ice cream T's mum rang and invited my family over for dinner. We had pizza and stayed till 11:23. The last half an hour of the year.
