Only one hour was left in the new year to start. You were in a theme park having a great time with your bestfriends.

"Y/N let's go," Your friend said, dragging you with her somewhere.

"Where are you taking me?" You asked her.

"ROLLER-COASTER!" Your friends yelled in excitement.

"WHAT? NO! I won't go on that crazy thing!" You protested.

"Haha.. very funny. Now let's go," She said, sticking out her tongue.

"No way on Earth I'm going on that stupid monstrous thing!" You protested again, looking at the creepy roller coaster with a look of horror.

"You will go!" Your friend argued.

"I've eaten a burger, I don't wanna puke." You said, trying to find an excuse. Roller coasters were never your thing. You were always scared of them, as you had a fear of heights.

"Plus, It's really scary, I don't wanna die before 2016 starts." You added, shaking your head.

"Stop arguing! You're coming with us, I'm going to buy four tickets for the roller-coaster and that's final." She tried to scold you and was leaving but you stopped her.

"Please, you guys go. I'll stay here," You tried to convince them.

After what seemed like ten minutes, you finally convinced them to go on the roller coaster without you.

"Are you sure you'll be fine here alone?" Your friend asked you.

"I guess so. Now go and enjoy that disgusting ride, while I'll wait for your screams." You chuckled, pushing them, forward.

"OH GOD, IT'S GOING TO BE AWSOOOOME!" Your friends yelled in excitement.

"Okay now. Shoooo," You pushed them again.

They said bye to you and left. You were standing there, checking out other rides, which were near you. You took out your phone from your pocket and texted your mum, informing her that you'll get late.

After that, you went to buy popcorns and sat on a bench nearby. Your friends were still in the line, waiting for their turn.

You were busy stuffing your mouth with the popcorns, when you noticed someone come and sit beside you on the bench. You turned your head to find a boy with beautiful hazel eyes, sitting next to you.

"Hey," He said, nervously.

"Umm..Hey," You said looking down, shyly.

There was an awkward silence between you two. You shifted more towards the edge of the bench.

After a while, he broke the silence.

"I'm Zayn,"

"I'm Y/n,"

"Pretty name." He smiled.

"Thanks," You smiled back, shyly.

"You mind if I ask why are you sitting here alone, at this time?" He asked, nervously.

"No, I don't mind. Umm..actually my friends have gone to the roller coaster and I'm waiting here for them," you explained him, pointing towards the roller coaster.

"You didn't go?" He asked, slightly tilting his head to the side.

"Nope, I'm not a big fan of roller coasters." You said, but you quickly regretted it because you thought he'll think of you as a loser, who doesn't like roller coasters. But then you were surprised by what he said next.
