Chapter 24 Cute Animals

The sun went through my blinds and blinded me in the eyes. "Im awake!" I said sitting up. "Oh the blinds." I said rolling out of bed. I walked to my bathroom and got ready for the day. I want to go to the shelter to look at cute little animals. Looking at my phone I knew I had time to go to the shelter. Cheyenne called me and I had to answer.

Cheyenne- Hey Loser.

Megan- Lets go to the shelter. I'll come pick you up.

Cheyenne- Sure! Come down anytime I been up for awhile

Megan- See ya!

I hung up the phone and slide it in my back pocket. Walking down stairs I heard my parents talking about me. I cleared my throat and caught their attention. "Im going to the shelter with Cheyenne." I said grabbing my keys and leaving the house. They were going to say something but I ignored them and shut the door. When I was outside I saw Alli and her boyfriend making out.

I rushed over to my car and got inside. They didn't notice me which surprised me. Driving away I saw Chandler outside talk to his mom. I pulled up at Cheyenne house and got out. Remembering to grab a magazine on my way out of the car. Cheyenne opened her door and I throw the magazine at her. "Come on slow poke." I said as she walked and looked through the magazine.

"Good pictures. Some of them is sexy." She said as we both got into the car. "What can I tell you it is from the best." I said as we both laugh. Cheyenne plugged my phone into the radio and put on my favorite songs. We danced in the car the whole way there. "Alright get out of my car." I said as we were at the shelter. We got out and walked inside the shelter. "Hi can we see the cats." I said as the nice lady nodded.

"Right this way." She said as we followed her. We walked into the world of cats. There was these too fluffy one and I ran over to them and pet them the whole entire. "They are so fluffy!" I said as Cheyenne laughed. Cheyenne decided two get the two brothers as my parents didn't want cats. Ill just call Norman and Emily since they are now together. Damn I forgot we have dinner with them tonight.

"Cheyenne I need to get home." I said walking to the door. She nodded and said good bye to the cats. We walked outside and Chandler was there. "Stick your head up. Walk to the car calmly." She said as we walked to the car. I got in and shut the door. Chandler came over to the car but I pulled out and drove to Cheyenne house. "Thanks." She said as I nodded.

She got out of the car and entered her house. I looked for any cars and drove away. Pulling into the driveway I saw Norman's car. "Fuck." I mumbled walking into the house. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. "What? It's not like im naked or anything." I said walking into the kitchen. When I was about to get my food there was a knock on the door. "I got it." Emmy said as she got up.

She opened the door and excitement filled her voice. "Megan someone charming is here for you." She said as I smiled and walked out to the door. Austin stood there looking at me with his cute little jacket on. "Austin." I said walking onto the porch and shutting the door. "Hey Meg." He said as I looked at him. "I wanted to give you with necklace." He said handing me the necklace. I looked at the words on the heard. 'Always yours' it said as I smiled. "Thank you Austin. Can you help me put this on?" I said as he put the necklace on.

"Welcome." He said standing in front of me. I put my arms around his neck loosely as he put his hands on my waist. We slowly leaned in and kissed over and over. Norman open the door and cleared his throat. "Meg your food is getting cold and we wanted to talk to you about you magazine." He said as I look at Austin. "Here." I said giving him a magazine.

"Thanks. Ill text you." He said walking over the porch as I waved. "What the hell Norman?" I said as he walked in laughing. "I am 17 and your being horrible to me." I said. "We are protecting you." Emmy said as I glared at her. "From sex? Listen, I already had sex with Austin and will be glad to do it again on that couch." I said pointing to the couch. "Me-" Mom started saying. "You now what fuck you all right in the assholes. Oh wait you people do it to each other." I said rushing up stairs.

I rushed in my room and grabbed condoms. Dropping all the condoms I thought of Austin. "Meg!" Dad said as I thought of cutting myself. He always is mean to me and acts like im a piece of shit but im not I am more than a piece of nasty old piece of shit. I walked back to my room. I sat in the bathroom and started cutting myself as I cried. He doesn't understand what I deal with every single day of the week.Sitting on my bed my butt vibrated. I decided to ignore the messages and cry myself to sleep.
