Chapter 18 The break

Chandler stood there thinking I was going to answer him. "Well I just got into a huge fight with Austin and I have no idea what im going to do." I said looking down. "Well can I take you to school?" He asked me. "Chandler? It is Sunday. I'm going to talk to everyone." I said. He nodded and left the house.

Lauren and Steven got done in the bathroom. They walked to the kitchen and saw my sitting in space. "Who was that?" My asked me. "Chandler trying to get me back." I said looking at them. "I just don't know what to do." I said putting my head down.

We heard Alli playing music in her room. But without the loud music we heard the door bell go off. I walked over to the door and saw Cheyenne there. "Cheyenne?" I asked her. "Oh hey Megan." She said. "Let's go out." She said as I smiled at her idea. I walked in letting my parents know and we got into my truck. She talked the whole way there as I just nodded.
I looked at the party and saw Austin car. "Let's have fun and stay by me." I said getting out. "That can go to other way around." She said as I laughed. We walked in and all I saw was girls all over Austin so now it was my turn. "Let's dance." I said pulling her to the dance floor.

We dance and I saw Austin looking at me. "I a getting us some drinks." She said over the music. A guy came over to me and dance with me. "I'm christ." He said. "Megan." I said as Austin came over to me. "Meg can we talk?" He asked me. I nodded and he took me outside. "What the hell were you doing in there?!?!" He asked me. "Me? Your the one with all them girls up on you." I said.

"That is different." He said. "Well it either we are on a break or breaking up." I said ready to give up. "Well we are on a break. And if you excuse me I'm going to find Cheyenne." I said walking inside.

Cheyenne was on the couch waiting for me. "Let's go." I said as she hesitated before getting up. "What happened with you and Austin?" She asked me. "We're on a break." I said getting in the truck.
She got in. No word was spoken in the truck as I drove her home. "Bye Megan." She said getting out of the truck. I smiled and watched her go inside of the house. Passing Austin's house I saw him and some girl together.

"Wow." I muttered under my breath. I drove away not crying not mad. Relieved. But why was I relieved? I pulled up into the drive way and got out. Chandler was there on the porch. "All I want to be is friends." I said looking at him. "I know you do and if that is what you want I wanted to let you know I won't give up on you." He said walking around. "I appreciate you not giving up on me. I really need a friend right now." I said as he opened me up into a hug. He hugged me and I hugged back. He is a great friend and I am being able to forgive him for what he did. Chandler being here for me and Cheyenne here for me will be a change but a great change. 

Austin didnt text me or anything so now it was my turn to make a move. Chandler sat by my side as I scrolled down to find his name. "I think I can do this but I am glad I have a friend here." I said hitting the call icon. The phone ranged for a few minutes before he answered it.

Austin- Hey Meg.

Megan- So I wanted to say i am breaking up with you. Hope we can be friends.

Austin- Meg I-

He started saying something before I hunged up. "That is one less problem." I said smiling a little. "Hey that is fine. At least we have school tomorrow." He said. "No I do not want to hear about school. Cheyenne is coming to our school. Im so excited to see her." I said looking at him. We looked at each other before my mom came in. "Well I hate to say good bye but I have to talk to Megan and she has school tomorrow." My said as Chandler got up. "Thank you for having me here." Chandler said before leaving. What did she want to talk about?
