On the walk back to the classroom Aqua and Gem were dishing gossip on the other students part of this mess. But Pisces bubble of happiness was popped when she re entered the classroom and saw what stood in front of her.
"Oh look she's alive, can we go back home now, Saggi and I have a party to be at," Libra said jumping up from the desk she was sitting on. "Um that's the problem," The boy Aquarius explained to be Aries her boyfriend spoke, "Virgo over here kind of broke the machine." "What do you mean by kind of?" Aquarius asked her voice raising with each word on the verge of cracking." "Well," he dragged on. "Totally, completely, destroyed," Scorpio cut in nonchalantly. Suddenly everyone was shooting lasers at Virgo, who casually waved them off. "What," she whined "I just wanted to see if it would send cute boys over."
Scorpio scoffed catching Pisces glance, who looked surprisingly happy even with the 'dreadful' news that was just revealed. He flashed her an over exaggerated eye roll, regarding the argument burning up the other half of the room. And she couldn't help but let a giggle slip from her lips, the attention focusing on her.
"Are you kidding me?" Libra snapped, Pisces tearing her gaze from Scorpio's dark eyes and moving it to Libra's ice cold ones. "You could be stuck here for the rest of your poor pathetic life, and you're laughing?" Saggi snorted, but caught herself before it got to loud. "It'll only be pathetic, because she'll be stuck here with you two." Scorpio snapped nonchalantly, Pisces confused by his ability to do that.
It wasn't the snarkiest or most original comeback, but at least it shut the Barbie Doll up, for a bit. "She's partially right," Capricorn admitted sheepish, inflating Libra's ego by about a million her snarky grin now mixed with pride, "I mean, aren't you the freaking out the slightest bit since we are now stuck in another century?" And that was the funny thing. The normally anti-social and awkwardly anxious Pisces, was totally and completely nerve free and it was electrifying.
"Nope," she said, her voice on the edge of song as her smile just grew. She felt as if she was flying. Her burst of energy hit the exhaustion point as she yawned, and then a scary thought hit her. "Though," she muttered trying to stop it from trembling, "where will we sleep."
"Well," Aqua stated stepping forward while everyone was in the midst of arguing, "I decided to use my brain and snuck into to the office, signed all of you up as forgein exchange students from Canada, who are acting as the guinea pigs in an experiment comparing the two education systems. The timing was unfortunately mixed up, causing you to arrive early, therefore the reason the principal has yet to be notified and housing also won't be much of a problem, since most or all of you can bunk at Virgo's because her parents are almost never home and her house is probably bigger than the entire school, understood?" The rest of the teens stared at her, confusion glazing their eyes as she sighed and began to slowly repeat herself.
"So how will we all get there?" Cancer mumbled under his breath, after Aqua finished refreshing the plan. "I got a ride from Leo this morning, but we can fit three of you," Virgo said, "And Aqua, Gem and I can fit two at the most." Aries added, "Meaning one of you are stuck with Scorpio and his death machine." Gemini who had been rather quiet for the majority of the conversation piped up. "I'll take those two," Leo smirked gazing and pointing at Saggi and Libra, while Taurus flashed him a dirty look as he muttered, "And I'll join you." Aqua turned her gaze on the remaining three, Cancer, Capricorn and Pisces. "Which one of you has the slightest fear of motorcycles?" And shocking, not only every student, but even herself Pisces found herself agreeing to the ride, the descison not completely based on the opportunity to spend some time with Scorpio. "Then I guess you two are with us," Aries said politely to the two boys awkwardly standing by the door.
" Ever ridden one?" asked Scorpio as him and Pisces found themseleves slipping on two matching helmets. Pisces shook her head, knowing that if she opened her mouth words wouldn't be the only thing to leave her mouth, "Well good thing I have two of these," he chuckled, the helmet already on his head as Pisces managed to muster a weak smile. "Nervous aren't you?" he smiled hopping onto what Gem had dubbed the death machine offering her a hand as she joined him, almost falling off in the process. Taking her hands he wrapped them around his torso, "It may be a bit of a bumpy ride," he breathed, "She's seen better days."
Unfortunately his attempt as a joke did the exact opposite of its intention, causing Pisces stomach to feel even more nauseated. "Can we just get this over with?" she muttered before hearing a roar and feeling the wind beating against her clothes. "It's okay, just open your eyes," Scorpio shouted to her over the engine, "How do you know they're closed?" "Because I was the same way my first time, but as soon as you open them it's a different world." And so she did and he was right. The nausea was replaced by pure bliss and she admired the surroundings which seemed to merge together from the speed of the bike.
And when it was finally over, she wished it never finished. After swiftly sliding off Scorpio offered a hand to Pisces who just noticed the house they had parked in front of. "Holy shit," she muttered. Her gaze was kept on the house while she was awkwardly getting off the bike. It was a massive brick mansion. Porcelain pillars and large black French doors accessorized the front of the house. "You ready?" Scorpio asked nodding towards the doors. "Yeah," Pisces replied, snapping out of her day dream. They made their way up the mile long drive way. Once they were up the grand stair case of the porch Scorpio opened the door for her.
The foyer was as big as Pisces' entire house. It had white granite floors and beige walls. There was a stair case that went up the middle splitting into two, midway. Black spindles belonged to the railings. Everyone was sitting on the first few steps talking. "Okay they're here," Virgo said jumping to her feet ready to tell everyone where to go, so they could get out of her face. "There are three bedrooms upstairs, excluding mine and my parents'. But I also have a guest house that can sleep two. So you can decide amongst yourselves where you would like to sleep," she informed them all with hand gestures. Libra quickly piped up, grabbing her boyfriends arm, "Taurus and I will be taking the guest house." Everyone had a look of disgust grow on their faces, as the couple eye flirted, intensely, yuck.
"So while they make babies, Sagittarius and I can share a bedroom. And the two guys can get a bedroom each," Pisces finalized. "What makes you think I want to share a room with you?" Saggi scoffed. "I just assumed the guys were going to be normal guys and say they're too straight to share," she shot back while the guys quietly agreed. "But if they really want to share we can even throw in a bottle of mineral water," Leo smirked.
The group of future teens stood awkwardly not understanding Leo's joke, except Pisces. "I don't get it," Libra grimaced. "Back then mineral water was considered 'gay'," Pisces told her with finger quotes. They mumbled a quick laugh still not finding it funny and they made their way to the separate rooms. "If she causes you too much pain, from that squeaky voice, remember there is always room at my place." Scorpio whispered, his hand on Pisces shoulder. She sent him a shy smile before following Saggi's path to the room they would be stuck in for who knows how long.
