"Wakey wakey... Good morning sunshine it's time to get up." A vaguely familiar voice came from the dark as Josh stirs in his bed, as usual, not wanting to get up.

   It was a Saturday morning, a rather cold one for Southern California, early as well, just enough to where the sun barely flickered above the horizon. Josh, still laying in bed, awoke to a familiar boy in his room, and from the previous day's events it was well, expected.

"Come on we can't be late"

    "Mmmm what the hell man, it's... Five fucking o clock in the morning" said the Josh in a raspy morning voice.

"I know dumb shit. I can see your clock."

     "Well... what do you want?" asked Josh, somewhat frustrated.

"You'll see soon enough... now get up" answered the voice as the boy, having no choice to but get up, sat up in his bed as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.

"Now get dressed I'm taking you somewhere"

    "And where might you be taking me? Somewhere you can murder me and rape my body?" asked Josh sarcastically as he dug through his closet looking for clean clothing.

"Yup, exactly"

   "Well then, tell my family I love them and tell my brother he can't have my Xbox"

"Fair enough... Now let's go" said the voice as the two began walking through the quiet house.

     "Really, where are you taking me?" Josh whispered as they exited the front door, careful not the wake anyone.

"You'll see, just get in the car and stop asking questions" answered the voice, which Josh could now identify as Calum's, not to his surprise.

    "Fine, but it better be a good reason for waking me up this early"

"Oh I think you're gonna like it" smirked Calum as he stepped into his car and started it.

    Josh replied sarcastically as he opened the car door, "whatever you say."

    As the two began cruising through the dim streets, Calum rolled down his window and placed his elbow on the edge, resting his head on his hand and glanced towards Josh, who was now occupied by his phone.

   As Josh pressed send for the tweet he glanced towards Calum, who quickly turned away after making eye contact with the boy.

"So I see I'm bae now" blurted Calum smirking as he broke the awkward silence between the two.

    "Since when have you not been"

"You're cool kid, I like you"

    "Thanks I guess" replied Josh as nonchalantly as he could, which looked quite awkward, but Calum found it cute, like how when a baby does something cute. Not that he was cute or anything.
