A few days ago, me and my mother were driving home from my aunts house. Near a four way intersection, a beautiful young Fox jumped into the road. Luckily it ran back into the brush without being hit. I said in my head: "Wow, what a beautiful creature! Nature is amazing!" But my wide smile quickly turned into a frown. I thought about how many animals have gone and will go extinct because of our actions. Cars, releasing terrible gases. Smoking. Electricity. Habitat and land destruction. All destroying some of the most beautiful and extravagant creature that will ever exist. We are destroying so many beautiful animals, with all our new technology. Once certain species fall out of the ecosystem, many other animals will in turn fall as well. Humans are going to cause everything on Earth to die. Even ourselves. We are literally destroying ourselves. We are the next Mass Extinction. Thank you, little Fox, for inspiring this story that will hopefully inspire others to make a change.
