A Change?

After I said goodbye to my dad, I went inside to find Mal and Evie. We are really getting close and I was glad I had friends. I knocked on the dorm room door and waited. When it opened there stood Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos."Oh if it's a bad time I could come back later." Evie laughed and pulled me into their room. "All we were talking about was all the girls here had on ball gowns." I smiled and sat on the edge of Mal's bed. "Yeah I don't know why they had to do that. I was perferctly fine with a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt." They all laughed then someone else knocked on their door. Evie opened it and there stood Lonnie. "Hey what's up Lonnie?" Mal asked getting off her bed. "Audrey and Jane wants to see Alexandria."I stood up and walked out the door saying to Lonnie,"It's Alex. That's it." 

 As I walked into my room, Audrey and Jane were there. "Yeah." They turned towards to me."We have a question?" I sat on my bed when Lonnie came in." Why did you wear that to Family Day?We all wore a gowns. We were suppose to match."Audrey asked. My eyes widened. "If you wanted to match then you could ask for my help so you change the princess look and I'm not going to wear a gown. I never did and I'm not going to."  With that being said I stood up to walk out the door when Jane said,"Maybe you should change so you can look like a princess." I just stood there. Did she seriously say I should change who I am so I will be like every other princess here. I turned around to face them."Please tell me your joking?" "Why would we be? Alexandria you are the only princess in Aurdon Prep who looks like.. like." "Like what Audrey? What do I look like?" Audrey took in a deep breath. "Like a boy." I balled up my fists.

 Before anyone could do anything I tackled her and started to punch her when the door opened and Mal pulled me off of her. Audrey stood up with a bloody nose, her face red, and black eyes. Jane's mom came in with mine."What is going on in here?" Then she looked at Audrey," What happened to you?" My mom gave me a glare. Jane's mom walked past me with Audrey. I stepped forward towards her and she backed up quickly. When they left Mal let go of me. "Alexandria why would you do that?" I crossed my arms,"I have my reasons." I looked at my hands. My knuckles were bleeding. My mom was mad. She just turned around and left. When she left she shut the door and I turned to Mal."How did you know I was punching Audrey?" "I didn't. I was coming to see if you wanted to come hang out with Jay, Carlos, Evie ,and I." "Sure sounds like fun." Mal just looked at me. 

"Okay." "Okay. Oh would it be okay if I switched to yours and Evie's room because I don't think Audrey would want to stay in the same room as me." "I can talk to Evie, but I'm sure she won't mind." Mal said as we walked out of the school where Jay, Carlos, and Evie were."Thanks I'll really appreciate it. I said as we walked over to them. "Hey." "Hey."Jay,Carlos,and Evie said at the same time. Jay just looked at me. "Jay is there something wrong?" I asked him. "What's wrong with your hands?" He asked. I looked at my hands that were still bleeding. "Oh nothing." I lied. Mal then spoke up." I went to ask Alex when I opened the door she was on top of Audrey punching her." "You punched Audrey." Carlos said with a shocked face. "More like beat her face in." I said with a smile. They all just looked at me before Carlos said,"Princess has a temper."

 I just glared at him."Don't call me a princess." I said. We started to walk together when Mal said," Why were you even punching her?" I stopped. They stopped as well and looked at me." She said she wanted me to change because I don't look like the other princess here I look like.." I stopped there. "Like what Alex."Evie asked. "They said like a boy." I said with anger in my face.
