Chapter 1: Coming back to S.H.E.I.L.D

{Emma's P.O.V}
I just got home from my day full of gymnastics and ballet. I was getting myself some coffee and went to sit down but someone knocked on my door. "One second, Let me put my coffee down!" I yelled. After I put it on the coffee table I went to open the door. I opened the door and there was my old friend Natasha. "Come in" I said "Let me guess I need to come back to S.H.E.I.L.D?" She nodded then said "Yes but there is a reason you will want to." I looked at her like 'what the f*ck are you talking about'. I said "Well? Is it a good one or bad." She replied with a "Depends on how you take the news... Clint has been compromised." I tried to look at her without sadness showing. She looked sad and said "Emma I know you, you might as well stop acting like you don't care." I gave in and gave an sad smile. "How did that even happen?" I said "Let me guess some dude came and took him?" She looked surprised "That's actually what happened." I looked at her with a look saying 'Seriously?!?!' And then I said "Okay... who did it then?" She said "I will tell you on the way." I interrupted "Wait! Where are we going?" She said to me "The big guy... Bruce Banner." Wow I never thought I would get to see him!

We got on the quintjet. She got in the pilot seat and I got in the co-pilot seat. "Okay so who is this guy and what happened?" I asked. "She glanced at me from the corner of her eye, and replied "The guy is Loki, he is a god." I continued looking straight ahead while I replied with "Okay... isn't he the God of Mischief from Norse Mythology?" She nodded. Well that is unexpected then. "So what are we going to do about it?" I questioned. She said "Well Fury has agents going and recruiting people. Look in the folder next to your seat." I grabbed the folder and I was surprised at what I saw. Avengers Initiative. They are actually doing this? "Wait why am I in this, no one but you and Fury knows about the wings from HYDRA and the Black Widow program? This makes no sense that I'm in this, we already have someone who flies, and is a master assassin." She replied with "We both know that your wings can change to vibrainium and can light on fire. We don't know what else you can do though. So we need a third assassin too, especially if we want to get Clint back!" Well I guess I really have no choice and plus what's wrong with just going until we get Clint back anyways. "I will do it until we get Clint back." I said, " Nothing past that." Natasha replied with "What happens if we get you to stay after that?" Umm well I guess I would just stay with the Avengers. I said "I don't know but we will see what happens."

~*Time Skip to the Helicarrier*~

Fury told us to go and see Phil and Captain America. We were walking and I spotted Phil and a man next to him. I guess that Captain America. I whispered to Nat "Is that Steve Rogers/Captain America?" She did a little nod. Phil spotted us and said "Captain these two are Natasha Romanoff and Emma Goodwin. Otherwise known as Black Widow and Angel." Rogers looked at me and said "Nice to meet ma'am" then looked at Nat "You too ma'am." We both shook his hand and said in sync "You to Captain." I looked at Phil and said "Director Fury needs you for the face trace." Phil nodded goodbye to us. Once he was out of earshot Nat said "You were quite the buzz around here when they found you. I thought Phil was going to swoon" I looked at Rogers and said "Did he ask you to sign his trading cards yet?" Rogers looked at me and said "Trading cards?" I nodded while Nat said "They're vintage."
Cap yelled "Mr.Banner!" Banner looked at us and Rogers went up to him and said "I heard you can find the Tesseract." Banner replied with "Is that the only thing you heard?" Rogers said back "Only word I care about." Nat looked at the boys and said "Might want to come inside, it's going to get a little hard to breathe." I smiled at that, oh how I've missed this. The boys said something but I was to busy thinking about what was going to happen to Clint.
