Ember's P.O.V
I was stirred out of my sleep by the sound of distant yelling. It sounded like someone was angry. I rubbed my tired eyes and stumbled to my feet.

I strained to listen to the strangled sounds. As they came closer I could make out that they were yells coming from a girl.

Phoenix.

My sister immediately floods my thoughts as I begin to panic. My breathing comes out at a rapid pace.

Despite the fright taking control of my body, I can start to understand some words that Phoenix is screaming.

"Minho... Down..." The sounds are quickly approaching until I can clearly hear what she is saying.

"Minho! This is not funny!" Phoenix giggled.

She's happy?
How is that even possible when we are in this nightmarish place?

"It is pretty funny." A boy replied back to her. I could hear the smirk in his voice.

Finally Phoenix and the boy made it to the slammer door.

"Minho, you are not putting me in there." Phoenix said with a playful yet serious tone.

"Rules are rules. General Alby said to lock you in here."

I heard Phoenix sigh.

"I'm really not liking this Alby guy." Phoenix said with a hint of frustration.

"I know. He will grow on you." The boy said.
I heard the door being unlocked and then it slowly opened with a creak as if it was moaning from the effort.

I stayed where I was in the dark corner of the room, silently and watched.

Phoenix poked her head inside and peered around the room. Her eyes flicked back to the boy supposedly named Minho.

"You are not keeping me in here." She said as if it was some form of cruel joke.

"Sorry, Greenie." He shrugged. The boy said gave her a little nudge.

I could see Minho's figure standing at the doorway. He was a tall, muscular Asian with spiky black hair.

Phoenix rolled her eyes and walked through the door with her arms folded grumpily across her chest.

"What am I supposed to do in here?" She asked the boy, gesturing around the drab room.

"Ummm. Oh I have an idea." He smirked mid sentence. "Just think of how amazing I am. It will keep your mind busy." He placed his hands on his hips.

"Actually I think I will just spend my time coming up with sassy comebacks for you." Phoenix retorted.

"Aw come on, you can't get any sassier then this." He gestured to himself while grinning.

The boy then reached out and grabbed hold of the door while pulling it shut. He took out his keys and inserted them into the latch until it clicked.

"Aw Minho....." Phoenix said in a whiny voice.

"Sorry Greenie." He chuckled. I listened to his footsteps pound against the floor until he was out of earshot.

Phoenix huffed and dropped her arms at her sides. She turned and studied the room carefully, her features showing off confusion and curiosity. Her eyes eventually landed to the shadowy corner I was disguised in.

Her eyes widened at the sight of my figure mixed into the darkness.

"Who's...Who's there?" She stumbled for words, nervously. She cautiously took steps backwards until her body hit the wall.

I slowly stepped from out of the dark shadow.
Relief flooded Phoenix's features.

Phoenix laughed.
"Oh my pizza! I thought you were some psycho murderer!"
