 "That explains the claws, and the fangs, and all that.Makes perfect sense now.What? Scott, come on. I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bone, okay? Sarcasm is my only defense."

 " Just help me find it."

 " Not "it." Jackson."

 "Yeah, I know. I-I know. All right, but does he know that? He already passed Derek's test.How did he pass the test? "

" I don't know.Maybe it's like an either-or thing.I mean, Derek said that a snake can't be poisoned by its own venom, right? When's the Kanima not the Kanima? When it's Jackson."

Derek pov

When I returned to our cabin, not even sure when I started thinking as this place as ours, but Anna being there felt right. she had fallen asleep waiting. I smiled thinking I could get use to this having someone care for me and haveing someone to come home to. I gently picked her up and carry her to our bed and lay her down. Her eyes flicker open, and she smiles but slowly it fades, and her eyes began to tear up. "Anna its ok, nothing happened everyone is fine.You were right it wasn't her."

She reaches and grabs my shirt pulling me to her and kisses me soon we are lost in each other . she starts pulling my shirt trying to remove it, I chuckle and pull back causing a whimper to come from her I quickly remove my shirt and return to her. she pulls me into a kiss, and I run my hands under her shirt cupping her breast causing a soft moan. she pushes me back then climbs ontop of me making the wolf in me fight that much stronger for control. she begins to unbutton her shirt and removes it throwing it to the floor. I return to her covering her with my body kissing her she says my turn and pushes me up till I'm standing and begins to undo my belt pushing them to the floor we return to the bed only thing left is our under clothes. I take her into my arms pulling her against me and kiss her, our bodies are pressed against each other tightly I can smell her desire it is driving me crazy I'm fighting to stay in control, but the wolf is fighting me.
