"Hey Rain."
"Hi."
"You wanna sit with me?"
"She would love to." Yvonne answered.
"Umm..." I am so going to get you, Yvonne. I walked over to Sean's table. His friends gawked at me. I felt like I was the deer while the lions watched me, about to pounce.
Sean held my hand and whispered, "Don't mind them."
"Um, I need to go anyway."
"But you just sat."
I stayed, but I decided not to talk. After lunch, we went to our classes. At the end of the day, I ran outside to Paul. I was going to walk home with him. Then I bumped into Sean. "Hey girly." He better watch his mouth, I am not a girly. "You want a ride home?" I looked at Paul. He shrugged. Then, he just walked home.
"I'll be right back, Sean."
I ran to Paul almost falling. He helped me stable. "Are you mad at me? I don't know what to say to Sean."
"Just go with him. I'll walk with you tomorrow." He gave a fake smile.
"Thanks." I walked back to Sean.
"Ready to go?"
"Yea." His car was nice. He turned on the radio.
"Today there has been spotted a dead woman on the sidewalk. Some say the murderer is--" Sean turned off the radio strangely quick.
"Why'd you do that?"
"I don't like the news. Too many lies."
"Oh." Hmmm..
"Here now."
"Thanks." I got off the car and closed the door, still in thought of why Sean had turned the radio off so suddenly.
