Warriors: The Spirit of The River #1 Rise

Chapter 1

Dawn broke inside of thunderclan's camp. Bramblestar padded out of the leader's den. He leaped onto highrock, gazing down at the camp.  He saw three young kits playing.

He looked down at them, watching them intently.

Pebblekit watched as sockkit wrestled with foxkit. She wondered why her siblings never want to play with her anymore.
She saw alderkit walking out of the nursery. She bounded up to him.

"Hey, alderkit! Do you want to play mossball? My siblings don't play with me anymore..."
"Sure! I'll play with you pebblekit!" He leaped away to get the last mossball from the nursery.

She sat there for a few moments and waited for him. She felt a pelt brush against hers and looked up. She saw her older sister, plumpaw, sitting next to her. " hey plumpaw." "Morning, pebblekit." Plumpaw's whiskers twitched, and pebblekit batted at her playfully. "See you later, plum." She says as she pads towards the spot she last saw alderkit.

Lionblaze padded into the medicine cat's den to see his brother. Instead of seeing jayfeather, he saw Windypaw, jayfeather's apprentice.

"Where's Jayfeather?" He asked. Windypaw looked up at him. "He went into the forest. He's not going to be back for a while." "Thanks, Windypaw." He padded out.

As he went near the entrance, he felt something pull his scruff towards the forest. As he regained his balance, he saw his brother. "Jayfeather!" Jayfeather frowned at him. "I need to tell you something. A few nights ago, I had a dream. Firestar gave me a prophecy..." His voice trailed off. "And..?" Lionblaze said with uncertainty. "And, I have a feeling that we need to find four cats. Help me keep an eye out for them, will you?" He said. Lionblaze nodded. He watched Jayfeather pad back into the camp. How does he know?
