The coldness is unbearable when you're locked up in a cell that has no way of any sort of light and warm air to get it. Not a single window, lamp, or heater. I hate it in this prison, this...asylum.
Yes, I think I'll call this place an asylum...it doesn't make me feel any better though. Asylums are for the crazy and the mentally insane...I'm not insane nor am I crazy.

I tuck my hands into my hoodie sleeve and hide them in the large pocket in the center. I shiver and pull my scarf up over my nose to keep it from freezing. My legs are pulled up to my chest and I'm lying against the stone brick wall with a pounding head.

When the man with the glasses came back into the cell, he immediately shivers and calls for one of his guards to bring us coffee and blankets.

Thank the Lord. I think.

My shivering slowly subsides when I get the fleece blanket around my cold body and I start to sip on my coffee. Why is this man suddenly being so nice to me?
I stare at him for a long moment before he clears his throat and grabs his clipboard from the table beside him.

"Are you warm, Toby?" He asks me. I stare at him and nod my head expectantly. "Good. Ready to tell me the rest of your story?"

"Y-yes." I stutter. He smiles at me and I wrap the blanket more around my body.

***********

When spring came around, Slender had recruited another member to the family. Her name is Sally. He treated her like his own daughter and I could sense some jealousy going around with Masky and Hoodie.

"How are you not bothered with this?" Masky snapped.
"I-I haven't been h-here as long as y-you guys have." I said.
"Still, you should at least be bothered with the fact that Sally is his new favorite!" Masky said as he threw his hands in the air. I rolled my eyes and sighed at my friend.
"I'm sure it'll p-pass." I said. Hoodie just let out a loud snort and stalked away. Masky stared at me with a glare for a moment before following Hoodie.

I later spotted them throwing their weapons at a tree.

It is true, however, that Slender is spending a strangely enormous time with the little girl. Maybe it's because of the trauma, or because he's never really had a little girl before.
I mean, Clockwork is someone's creation--so I've heard--and Jane came here as a teen and even then she never really appealed to Slender because she never gets along with Jeff and is always trying to kill Jeff. Something about getting revenge on Jeff for killing her whole family.

There's also Liu. He appeared one day and Jeff seems to be really close to him. Nobody knew how or when he got to camp, but according to EJ, they're brothers.
I don't see a resemblance at all between the two...

Something felt wrong, though. Like something bad was going to happen to one or all of us and we didn't know it was coming...something dangerous...

I remember feeling uneasy about the fact that I felt something watching me, so I blamed it on paranoia over being alone. Everyone left to go 'hunting', but I stayed behind to gather my thoughts. I did this a lot. I would reject the offers to go hunting and I stayed all alone. I talked to myself, but I didn't care. I guess I just wanted to stay away from my family for a while. They can get quite loud and obnoxious if they want to. I like to keep to myself and stay low...quiet...

But at times like these, I get tired of being on my own. It gets too quiet...and I feel too...vulnerable...that's when the voices in my head come into play. They tell me things and I imagine what it'd be like to see the things they mention. I'd smile and close my eyes.

Then, the loud noises of my family returning would wake me from my daydream and I would silently curse them for tearing me out of my paradise...

A/N:
Hey guys!!!
Early chapter!!!! YAY!!!!! Yep, this chapter is a day early and that is because since I write my chapters on the night before the day they're actually supposed to be posted (and that's because of wifi issues), I decided that this one is gonna be early because it's New Years Eve, I'm staying up with my sister to do a Harry Potter marathon, and I don't wanna have to write my chapters all the way until like, 2 in the morning because tbh, Ticci Toby, The Meeting at Twilight, and Playing With Magic all take about half an hour to an HOUR to write. Friggin crazy, I know.
Okay, so I know this chapter is really weird and not at all like my other ones, but I just wanted you guys to get a scene where Toby is by himself and what happens when he is. I know, it's weird and you're prob thinking wtf, but just go along with me on this, 'kay?
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, please do leave a comment and a vote if you haven't already, and I will see y'all on the flipside!!!!!!!
