Chapter Six

I woke up again still wrapped in CC's arms. I slipped out trying not wake him, brushed my teeth and went downstairs to get something to eat.

I scrambled throughout the fridge. NOTHING what so ever to make I wonder when was the last time he went for groceries. "CC" I yelled there was a huge thump "I'm up I'm up I'm up". I walked back upstairs to his room mumbling to myself about not eating something.

CC was laying down on the floor flat on his face. "CC I'm downstairs starving and you're asleep on the floor" he made no movements so I got a air horn I had in my room.

Sneaking around him I put the horn by his ear. He shot up "HOLY *SHIZZ* WHAT THE *FLICK* JADE I WAS SLEEPING" he cringed rubbing his ear. "Good you're up, now we can get some groceries and I'm starving so get dressed" I said leaving the room to get ready myself.

"I should get a job I made a fool out off myself" CC made me face him. "Jade you didn't make a fool out of yourself if anyone did it's me I managed to knock down the apple pyramid, trip an old lady and make a little kid cry all by just taking three steps into the store" trying not to laugh I unloaded the groceries.

I could work as a model well I do that for fun but maybe I could get paid to do it. "CC I'm going by my mom's wanna come"?

I put up the last of the food we bought and grabbed my car keys.

"Nah I think I'm going to just play on my set or go BACK TO SLEEP " I rolled my eyes "it's past four you know how you are after three" he stuck his tongue out at me. Rolling my eyes again I kissed his cheek and left I just hope my mother is home.

I haven't talk to her since I moved in with CC so she could be out of the country.

I pulled into the driveway good her car was still there and a new car must be Jason's. I heard Jason's music playing and then mom yelling at him to turn it down. I unlocked the door and slipped inside unnoticed, everything looked the same but a man sitting on the sofa.

I snuck behind the sofa and ducked so my mom wouldn't see me when she came down. She sat down in the man's lap and kissed him EWWWW!!! people forty and over shouldn't date. I popped up "oh so you kick you're daughter out so you can date really mom I can't even get a notice".

She looked shocked and surprised like I did when I first saw Jinxx's painter suit at the beach. "Jadelyn I didn't even know you were here. And my love life has nothing to do with you missy" she raised her voice.

"Ok mom I was only joking around and who might this be" I motioned to the man. He stood up to shake my hand "I'm Scott your mother's boyfriend".

Scott was very tall and slender with bright green eyes and almost graying brown hair. I took his hand "Jade, so how long have you to been dating"?

"JADE" my mom yelled embarrassed. "it's ok Jammie I love your daughter she's hilarious" Scott laughed and I smiled. "Jade you said something about a job" Scott asked.

I totally forgot about the whole reason I came over here.

"Well I needed some cash and since I model already maybe I could work for money"? My mom looked a little shocked and then gave me an answer. "Jade you're very lucky you asked now because Scott here works for a magazine and is in need of a model".
