Aug pov

I've been with Kels for about a year now and that's my baby. I luv ha to death shes basically lay-lay's mom now. Nah... Serena aint died we left her back in N.O. She know we have laylah. She ain't care one bit.

She said she was never really ready for no baby so she back to living with no responsibility. It's ight cause we got lay-lay that's our baby, she getting big though bout to make two in February.

Sneak on the other hand. He loved Destiny bad but she did us wrong. He's moving on now though, he still back in N.O. We talk here and there always keep up with each other.

My fam and kels fam been here for Christmas. The nice people, it was cool saw my beautiful little nieces. Now we living in Cali. It's a fresh start for us. New year , new start, right?

But as of right now I was in studio at home with my nigga kirko, working on some music. When lay-lay came running in and hid behind my leg with this smile on her face.

Me and kirko watch each as he chuckle then Kels came in as lay-lay held on tighter.

I know Kels saw lay-lay.

Kels: any of yall seen lay-lay ?

We both shoo our heads as she walked out the room then came back in as she grab lay and pick her up. Holding her high in the air.

Kels:found you lay-lay!

I playfully shook my head " yall goofy" I chuckled.

Kels: yeah we know.

Lay stretch her arms out to me indicating that she wanted me. I took her from Kels arm as she looked at me and pulled on my ear messing with my earring.

Kels chuckled. I would love to play with her but right now I got to get back to working.

" come get her back" I leaned her over to kels but she held on to my clothes and turned her head.

Kels: she wanna be with her daddy.

" lay baby daddy gonna play with you later. "

I gave kels a head nod to get her.

Kirko: she a daddy girl, damn!

Kels nodded : yes she is.

Kels somehow got her to loose her grip but then she began crying and kicking in kels arm.

Kels: lay-lay daddy gotta work. She'll be fine.

She walked out the room with lay-lay as she still cried.

" why is she here though?"

He licked his lips and sighed

Aug: cause she gotta be here kels. That's my assistant.

" I never seen no damn assistant dressed like that shvt, and so damn close up under you flirting n shvt. Plus you let her disrespect me in our house. You know what.

It was basically my house cause I pay bills in here as well and we both did half on half on buying the house. I walked around him and was walking out when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into him.

Aug:listen we just talking business nothing more , I promise and even if she flirting with me I can't tell. you know why? Huh?
Cause baby I only got eyes for you and you only.

He gently grab my face and kissed me but I didn't kiss back well at least not yet.

Aug: girl u betta stop playin and kiss my ass back.

" and if I don't ? " I said looking him up and down.

Aug: and if you don't this is what gon happen .

He picked me up and throw me over his shoulders as he spank my booty. 

" you play to muchhhhh , August stopppp that hurts."

I laughed as he put me back down.

Aug: can I get my kiss naw"

I rolled my eyes and give him a peck on his lips as I walked away.

Aug: the Fvck was that ? Bring that azz back here girl !"

He grabbed my waist and and turned me around. I chuckled and kissed him.

" better?"

Aug: way betta that's why i fvcks wid you baybeh"

" whatever " I walked out the room and walked down stairs.

" Netflix and food that's what you say ?"

Stacy shook her head as she took a bite of the pizza and gave lay-lay a piece from another pizza.

I hummed to Drake song - jump man  as I looked for a movie to watch. I finally found a decent one a clicked it. At this moment August and his manager John were out.

That's why me and Stacy was here just chillin it was actually late as hell like 2am.

" Imma go get some water. you want anything?"

Stacy: water.

I nodded as I walked to the kitchen and took two bottles out the fridge and I got a little water for lay-lay.

I came back and handed her the water as I handed lay-lay hers in a sippy cup and she smiled.

My phone began to ring as I saw john calling.

" hey"

..............

" what!"

............

" no, no !  " I'm on my way. "

I hanged up my phone. As I looked at Stacy.

" August got in an accident , let's go" she got up with lay-lay in her hand.

I grabbed the car keys and we rushed out the door. Damn if it isn't one thing after another. I can't lose this man n it's like everything is tryin take him away from me.
