Christmas. It was one of your least favorite holidays. Why?

Hearts break faster under a mistletoe-d kiss.

But you had to push the thought aside. Tonight, you were headed towards a Christmas party; Roxas was eager to celebrate the holiday with friends, as per usual. And you were one of his friends, and after reluctantly accepting his invitation, you knew you could no longer back down. You see, you loved your short, blond friend too much to hurt him in any way, especially missing one of his parties after agreeing to be of service.

So it was for you, trotting down the familiar path towards Roxas' humble abode that you had stumbled into a slight problem.

Axel.

As much as you loved to spare the feelings of your friend, you knew that he would invite the all familiar face with spiked up hair and "I - don't - give - a - gun" attitude. Last Christmas was a hell of a time for you, falling into pieces, believing all of his filthy lies and broken promises. And all it took was a little push under the mistletoe to see him kissing another girl. Telling her those exact sweet nothings he told you. You knew then that you couldn't trust him or anyone anymore.

Pushing away your thoughts, you realized now that the weather wasn't going to get any better, the snow was beginning to thicken around you, and the dress you decided to go in wasn't exactly wind proof. Taking a turn, you went directly into a small coffee shop you often stopped at during this time of year. Luckily for you, it was warm, just...slightly over filled with customers. You didn't know what was going on, but everyone seemed to be going towards the little stage area, when you realized they're having a winter special.

Being so crowded, you tried to get towards the counter of the shop to warm down, away from everyone for just a few spare minutes before you had to leave again, but stark blonde hair stopped you from doing so. She ran into you by accident, being pulled in by a new crowed that bustled around the stage, cheering as a woman entered view with a guitar and microphone.

"I'm so sorry -"

"Nah, it's fine, it's my fault." You chuckled as she stood up, emerald eyes bright and laughing back at you as she fixed her scarf. "Name's Larxene." She extended a friendly hand toward you, which you gladly shook.

"(Y/N). It's nice to bump into you this fine evening." She let out a light laugh, making you blush as you swore you felt the butterflies in your stomach roar within their confines.

"Oh well, the music is starting." But you were so drawn in by her intoxicating voice, you didn't even realize what she was saying. You turned away, facing the woman on stage as she began to sing a far too familiar tune.

Last Christmas,
I gave you my heart

But the very next day,
You gave it away...

This year to save me from tears,

I'll give it to someone special...

Unbeknownst to you, a new crowd had come in, pushing everyone farther in together. This caused you to be pushed into Larxene, eyes wide as you began to fall forward.

"(Y/N)!"

For a brief moment you thought you would feel the floor against your face, when instead your lips were against someone else's and people were awwing . You opened your eyes slowly to find yourself lip-locked with Larxene, who had saved you from falling onto cold, unforgiving tiled floor. You pulled away slowly, a large blush covering your face now, not knowing what to do other than stare into her eyes.

"I'm so-"

And one last kiss had you lifted off your feet.
