Chapter 9~Ladies vs Gentlemen

Author's P.O.V. ~December 20, 14~

"Okay, first team to get back here in 3 hours with all their Christmas shopping done wins." Louis states.

"Shopping lists ready?"

"Yup."

"Set."

"Go!"

Melanie and the girls of Fifth Harmony all run in one direction and the guys of One Direction go in the other direction.

"Okay, Melanie, Lauren and Camila go to your stores and we'll all meet here before going to our meeting spot with the boys." Dinah says.

"Got it." Lauren, Camila and Melanie say together.

"Okay, where to first, little me?" Lauren asks.

"Adidas for Louis, then to the Snapback store for Niall, Harry, Trevor and Liam, Nike for Niall and Trevor, and then Boston Store for Leather jackets for Liam and Zayn, and for Harry's skinny jeans, boots and bandanas."

"Let's go."

The three girls go to all the stores before separating to shop for each other. Melanie goes to one store where she knows she'll be able to get a lot of things for the 5H girls, her manager (Sophia James), her hairstylist (Molly), make up artist (Kelly) and clothes/accessories stylist (Becca). Once Melanie's done shopping for the girls, she goes back to meet up with Lauren and Camila, who are already waiting for her.

"Done?" Camila asks as they start walking to meet Dinah, Normani, and Ally.

"Yup! All done!" Melanie exclaims.

"Oh there they are." Lauren states and the three girls start speed-walking as best as they can with all their bags, to the others.

"Good?" Ally asks, a pile of bags around Dinah, Normani and Ally's feet.

"Yup! We have to beat the lads! I know for a fact that if they win, they won't stop bragging about it for five months!" Melanie states.

"Well then lets go!" Normani says. "There's ten minutes left!"

All six girls walking as fast as they can to get o the meeting spot. They get within 100 feet when they see the boys 150 feet away. Melanie starts to run as best as she could with all the bags and Niall starts running as well with his many bags. Melanie falls to her knees and slides the rest of the way, getting to the spot 4 seconds before Niall.

"Woo! Girls rule! What what?!" Camila exclaims as they get to where Melanie is.

"Oh for gods sake Niall!" Louis exclaims and Niall just screams in agony, probably because the lads lost.

"We rule."

"Okay, who's riding with who?" Liam asks once they've all caught their breath.

"I'm riding with the girls!" Melanie claims.

"Alright," Harry says.

"Where do you wanna meet? Ours or yours?" Normani asks.

"Ours?" Zayn says slowly.

"Yeah, sure."

"First one to their cars and to Harry's wins!" Niall shouts.

"And....." Harry pauses. "Go!"

Once again the girls and lads are off. All running like mad men/women. They all get to the elevators first and the girls shove the lads to get the elevator first. The lads push back. Melanie, Lauren, Camila, Ally, Liam and Niall all get in the elevator, not enough room for the others.

"Oh for fucks sake! Harry has the keys!" Niall groans.

"Aw, sucks to be you guys!" Camila teases.

"Ugh! We're gonna lose again!"

The elevator doors open and Melanie gets out first, then Camila, Ally and Lauren who all start walking quickly to Ally's car. She unlocks it and Camila, Lauren, Melanie and Ally all put their bags in the trunk before getting in the car. Allyi starts it and then they wait. Niall and Liam are waiting a few cars down by Harry's car.

The elevator opens again and Louis, Zayn, Normani, Dinah and Harry spill out. The girls run to where Ally, Melanie, Camila and Lauren are waiting, putting their bags in the car. Harry unlocks the Range Rover and Liam thrusts it open. Niall and Liam thrust their bags in the back then jump in the car. Louis, Harry and Zayn all run over and mimic what Niall and Liam did. They all get in and Harry puts the keys in the ignition bringing the car to life. Louis looks over at the girls and sees that they are already pulling out of the parking structure and onto the street.

"Harry! Go! They're going to beat us again!" Louis screams, slapping his boyfriend's shoulder.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Harry shouts glaring at his boyfriend before speeding out of the parking structure.

Melanie's P.O.V.

"Okay, at this light take a left and soo you'll pass the Beverly Hills sign. Then take a right and go straight." I instruct Ally.

"Got it."

"Do you think they're there already?" Camila asks.

"Not sure."

"Let's hope they aren't." Dinah voices as Ally pulls onto Harry's street.

My phone vibrates making me open my purse. My fingers glide across the case and they tighten, gripping my phone. I pull my hand out and turn the screen towards me. There's a text from 'Glam Ass' 'How far r u girls from H's house ?' and I reply back 'About 2 houses away ?' Louis replies not even one minute later. 'Just wanted 2 know' I frown at the text but lock my phone, resting it in my lap.

Ally pulls up to the driveway and all of our eyes widen.
