Chapter 23 ~ James Corden part 1

~December 3, 2015; CBS studios mid afternoon~

"I'm so glad I got this refresher from Starbucks before we got here." I voice as we pull into the CBS studios backlot.

"You do know that one of our assistants would have gotten them for you right?" Niall tells me as the van stops.

"Yea, I know but I knew that you boys would want something too while we were driving here."

"Okay you got us on that one."

We get out of the car and escorted to the studio. We wave to the fans before we are inside. We go to our dressing rooms, mine next to the boys. Opening the door to the room reveals Kelly, Molly and Becca lounging around the room. The door closes a little as I laugh and make my way over to them.

"Hello Mel." Kelly greets.

"Hi girls," I reply.

"Hello Melanie, girls." My manager, Sophia J, says as she walks in.

"Hi Soph,"

"How are you ladies doing?"

"Good, good."

"Alright, here's what's going to happen today. First is going to be the carpool karaoke, just the boys and James Corden. You're free to do whatever you please until they come back. Once they get back they are going to first do a little gloss over run through before actually filming. It's going to be History, interview and then tattoo roulette." Sophia lists off.

"Cool, do you think I could do a little shopping?" I question.

"Sure just make sure you're back in about an hour or so. Oh and take Noah, Adam and James with you, please."

"I will, I'll go let the boys know."

I walk out of my dressing room and knock on the boys door next to mine to signal to the boys that I'm gonna enter. Liam calls out a 'come in' a few seconds later so I slowly push the door open to reveal the boys.

"The girls and I are going to go out while you lads are filming with James. I'll be taking Adam, Noah and my James with us." I tell them, saying 'my' before James do we know who we're talking about while we're at the studio.

"Alright, make sure you are back here before or just after we get back." Niall replies from his spot in front of the mirror, his hair getting styled.

"Yes, sir."

"Okay, see you soon then love."

"Bye! Alright girlies! Let's hit it!"

"Off to go shopping!" Becca exclaims as they all stand up, grabbing their purses and phones.

"Hello miss Tomlinson-Styles." Noah greets when he sees us, James and Adam next to him.

"Hello, miss, ladies." James greets after and Adam smiles.

"Hey No, J, Ad. How many times have I told you boys to call me Melanie." I chuckle as I lightly punch their abs.

"Right, right, sorry mi-I mean Melanie." Adam laughs. "Ready to go?"

I nod with a smile and they lead us to a large SUV that will be taking us to Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Kelly, Molly, Becca and I have already looked up what's there and the food that's there. We saw a lot of stores and food stores on the website that we are going to try to hit. There are also a few Starbucks there as well so whichever one we see first and I'm going to get my usual drink which is a strawberry lemonade refresher. We are going to get some food to take back with us. I made sure to choose a shopping mall that is close CBS studios.
