Chapter 18~ San Diego and Seattle

~July 9, 15 San Diego 5 hours before show~

Melanie's P.O.V.

"Come on boys, we need to get to the stadium." Paul says, walking around the corner.
"Paul! We're in the middle of watching 'Pitch Perfect'! Melanie has never seen it before!" Louis states in a shocked voice causing me to roll my eyes.
"Yea, we're at the part where they're doing the riff off." Niall adds.
"Well, you lads need to do sound check, M&G, and then get ready. So move you're asses."
"We can continue watching Pitch Perfect on the bus after the show." I propose.
"You got yourself a deal."
"Let's go."

We all get off the couch, shuffling out the door of our half a day hotel room, down the stairs and into the van thats waiting for us behind the hotel. Liam and Louis are on either side of me, bickering back and forth while Niall and Harry are sitting in the seats behind us. I look out the window and just take in the scenery. My mind takes me to my team and wondering what outfit, makeup, and hairstyle they have planned for me.

"Come on Princess, we're here." Niall breaks me from my mind.
"Oh, okay." I reply, getting out of the van and following the lads.
"Melanie!"
"I love you!"
"Liam! I wanna have your babies!"
"Louis! Marry me!"
"Strangle me with your hair, Hazza!"
"Beat me with you're guitar, Niall!"
"Holy shit. These fans are crazy." Louis says as soon as we enter the stadium.
"I know right."
"Boys, vocal warm ups, now." Their vocal coach, Helene, rushes over to them, directing them to their dressing room.
"Hey bubbles, come on." Kelly says, "lets make you gorgeous."
"Lets do it."

Kelly leads me to my designated dressing room, which is next to the lads, and I can hear them warming up. As soon as we enter the room, Becca is right there handing me my outfit. She then gently pushes me to the bathroom, saying she'll explain to me what she picked out. I go, trusting her, and entering the bathroom. I change quickly, so I have time to explore.

"You are wearing a Billabong beach trip crop top, L'agence Marcelle foil skinny jeans, and Miss. Selfridge DALLAS tan circle wrap boots. The accessories are a Chloe small Hudson tassel bag, a Givenchy black 'Love' phone case, Beats Tour 2 in ear headphones. No rings, earrings or necklaces today, bubba." Becca explains.
"Thanks, Ree."
"Your makeup is all from NARS, so it's their chantilly radiant creamy concealer, All Day luminous powder foundation - Mont Blanc, deep throat blush, larger than life mascara, eye liner stylo - Atlantic, Audacious lipstick Jeanne - cherry red, dual intensity, eyeshadow, Riri by Rihanna, and white plaid nail wraps." Kelly explains asa she puts each product on my face or neck or nails. {A/N: I honestly can't read what I wrote because its been a long time so I'm sorry if none of that sentence makes sense.}
"Lastly I just did your hair in beach waves." Molly finishes.
"You guys always outdo yourselves."

~Strong~

The lads are performing strong and their harmonies are beautiful. I always loved this song because it has so many visual aspects to it. I can also tell that the boys love performing it as well. They love performing every song  they write, even cover.

~Seattle~

"Today's outfit is simple as well. A rose baseball stripe oversized sweatshirt, white Rick Owen lilies stretch leggings and Adidas superstar sneakers. Your accessories are the same as San Diego."
"Your foundation, mascara, eyeliner, concealer & fragrance are also the same as San Diego. Your eye shadow is the same as Cardiff, nails as well. The only difference is the lipstick which is the shade, Lana."
"Your hair that I did is in braids pulled into a ponytail."
"It's amazing, as always."
"Hey baby girl, you look great. The girls did a good job." Louis compliments as he walks into my dressing room with Niall behind him. "The lads and I are changing Strong to Spaces."
"How come?" I ask while getting off my chair that's in front of my vanity and make my way over to them.
"Wanted a little change." Niall replies.
"Oh, I'm sure the fans will love that."
"So, do you want to come to the meet & greet with us?" Harry asks making all of us jump.
"Dammit Harold!" Louis yelps, one of his hands raising to his chest and the other hits Harry's arm.
"Sorry babe."

Harry pulls Louis into his body, his arms caging themselves and he shoves his face into Louis' neck, his eyes fluttering closed. It's a cute picture because Harry has to bend down a little bit. I smile at how they react to each other, how they give up complete control to the other. It's always so weird to see how submissive Louis becomes with Harry because I'm so used to Harry sagging against Louis.

"Lads, meet & greet time." Liam announces, his head poking into the room.
"Coming."

~Stockholm Syndrome~

And a couple verses and choruses later, the lads finish Stockholm Syndrome and jump right into 'Spaces'. The fans reaction to the beginning of Spaces is death defying because they weren't expecting it. I smile wildly and sing along with the fans. Soon the bridge comes and Harry is belting his heart out and Niall, Liam and Louis are joining in with beautiful harmonies.

Hey guys! I am so so so sorry for being MIA for like 3 years! I just lost the motivation and need to write! I don't know why, but I think it's because when the lads went on their hiatus, I didnt really have anything to write about. Don't worry I'm not gonna stop this story when it comes to the lads announcement for their hiatus. I'm still gonna write but....I'm not sure but when I get there, I'll have an idea for what to do.

Again, I'm so sorry for making you guys wait so long. I wish I got the motivation earlier but that's what life is. I'm getting back into my writing mindset so expect new chapters soon!
