Confessing the truth

- In the morning -

"Wake up" Alison shouted at the top of her lungs.

"What?!" Emily screamed,
"Sorry you just scared the living day lights out of me.." She added.

"Speaking of living.. We need to announce that Maya's alive, publicly to Rosewood." Alison said, sounding nervous, but also like it was the right thing to do.

Suddenly everyone woke up.

"What did we miss?" Spencer said, shooting up.

The girls where listening.

"Today's the day we go to the police station" Ali said, reminding the girls.

The girls looked at each other will mixed emotions amongst their faces.

- At Rosewood police department -

Maya wore a big coat with the hood hanging low, covering her face.

Ali spoke things through with tanner. Shortly after we were asked to follow her into a small, prisoned room.

"Yikes, it looks so gross in here" Hanna said with disgust.

"Hanna?!" Emily whispered, keeping it professional.

"So.. Do you want to tell me something? Has there been a crime committed? A victim willing to share a story? Tell me anything." Tanner said, politely.

The girls all looked at Maya and waited for her to reveal.

"What's.. Going on?" Tanner asked.

"Just wait until she's ready" Alison replied.

Tanner and the girls glared at Maya.

Maya slowly removed her hood and was soon sitting there looking tanner dead in the eyes.

"M-m-Maya?" Tanner stuttered.

Maya began to cry happy tears,
"I'm home"

"Oh honey.." Tanner said, reaching out,
"Tell me everything" she implied.

- 10 minutes passed -

"And I was sick of being victimised.. With all this, cyber bullying and well, stalking.." Maya said, wiping tears from her cheek.

"Right, and I understand that this Lyndon, obviously affected you a lot.. The problem is, is that we don't know where he is and he is obviously capable of breaking the law and getting away with it, so there's a possibility he may do it again. Don't worry, we will find him." Tanner went on,
"You never told me what happened after that?" She asked.

"Basically, I got back to Rosewood and I was living at Noel khans cabin for a while.." Maya replied.

"Noel.. Khan? Right" tanner said, jotting his name down.

"I think I've heard enough to understand your statement and well.. Your whole experience and story really.." Tanner confirmed,
"It's just getting you back out into Rosewood, publicly that would be the issue.."

"Well there is someth-"
Ali stared at Maya and stopped her before she told tanner about the plan.

"Go on" tanner demanded.

"No.. It's nothing.." Maya lied.

"Okay.. But don't mess with this investigation..It's under control!" Tanner said in a serious voice.

"Okay, but what do I do for now? No one can see me!" Maya cried.

"Of course they can! If Ali managed to face the public after her disappearance.. Then so can you." tanner said looking at both Ali and Maya.

"Yeah I did, so you can.. Just ignore everyone, they'll get used to you being around after a while" Alison said with a smile across her face; Obviously lying, as the girls had their other plan, which lead to more trouble.. But at the end of the day, they are pretty little liars that can get away with murder, right?
