Chapter one: the new student

Hi my name is Alexis and I'm 13 years old. I go to a school called McDonald Jr high school.Well I'm in 8th grade.I have a best friend named Jessica she's really cool,sweet,and funny as anything.So everything was going as usual as any day.But then in social studies there was a new student.His name was Ryan James Lavernge. He was from California.he was my age but he was a little bit shorter than me. He wore glasses probably permanent. He had brown hair and brown eyes. And he wore a camouflage jacket with some blue jeans and black vans. The teacher (Mr.Desantis) told Ryan to sit next to me. Of course I didn't care I was focused on the work. But all I said to him was hi,then turned back to the board in the front of the class. Jessica who sat next to me on my other side(right) stared at me then to Ryan then back to me. "What do you think of Ryan?huh?" Whispered Jessica."What" I whispered back to Jessica. "NO TALKING" yelled Mr.desantis. After that I payed no attention to Jessica or Ryan. 10 minutes later the bell rang, I waited for Jessica to come to the door, then all of a sudden "WAIT" yelled Ryan. "Yes Ryan?" I responded back to him. "I just wanted to say hi and can I ask you a question?" He asked. "What is it?" I questioned "what's your name?" said Ryan "it's Alexis" I said back. After that question my life changed.
