Chapter two: the new friendship

Ever since Ryan talked to me we've been hanging out. Day after day, week after week, we would hang out. Sometimes Jessica would get jealous that I was with Ryan more that her. But every time that happens I tell her she will always be my bff,no one else will be more better than her. But now I've been noticing that every time I accidentally get to close to Ryan he blushes. Even Jessica says when I'm not looking he looks at me then starts blushing again. "Hey um...this might sound weird but I think Ryan likes you" said Jessica. "Do you think I haven't noticed that yet?" I said "......sorry" whispered Jessica. "It's fine Jessica" I said sadly I walked off and went to art class with Ryan. For some reason I couldn't speak to Ryan. That's weird I'm always able to talk to anyone,except for someone I like but..........I don't like Ryan like that,right? I just ignored that feeling and sat next to my partner Giovanna. Ryan sitting on the other table on my left side,with a girl named Emily next to him. Emily has been flirting with Ryan,and Jessica says I look like I get jealous when ever I see them two together. But Jessica can trick me sometimes,just because she says Ryan and I look cute together as a couple. But I know for sure I don't like Ryan more than a friend. After school I went to Jessica's house and we talked about school things,then my phone rings. I look to see who it is, I find a random number on the screen. I pick up saying "hello" "hello is this Alexis?" Said the other person on the phone "yes this is, who is this?" I respond "this is Ryan" Ryan says. "Ryan how did you get my number?" I said shocked with a mixture of happiness. "Jessica" he says,I turn to look at Jessica giving her that "really" look. "Well Ryan you really scared me, I thought you were some random dude calling me" I said. "That's fine I thought you would do that.....uh hey I got to go can I call you later?" Ryan said in a rush. "Uh yeah sure I'll save your number" I said blushing " ok bye.......beautiful" he said with a cute voice. My eyes widened when he said beautiful to me. I hung up,my mouth was cover by my hands. Not knowing what to say I tell Jessica what he said. Of course she starts fangirling and I do  too but a little bit.
