6. Beginning of a friendship

I woke up in a very good mood. I was remembering about what had happened yesterday. I did my morning routine and I was finally making my way to school... I parked my car closer to the entrance of the Student Parking lot gates. When I got out I saw a group of guys and they turned there attention to me and well I really can't see who it was...they just kept walking towards me.

Meanwhile I was getting my backpack and my phone, I finally got a good view on who they were. It was Jack, Nick, Scott, Micheal and finally Jayden. They all had smiles while Jayden had a Smirk. Ughh I simply can't get tired of his smirk...it just makes him hotter in a way...OK knock it off Catherine!!! They all said "Hi Catherine." I just gave them a wave and I said "Hey guys". Jayden said "So let's get to class before we get there late!"

As we were going to start walking , Jayden caught me off guard and felt that he was going to grab my hand . I was freaking out in my mind and pulled away ,but I kept a straight face. I saw Jack Smirking at me and I sticked my tongue out at him. Jayden noticed and his cheeks started to turn pink, then Nick said "Is there something I need to know here?" I laughed and said "Not yet jack jack" and I smirked. Jack smiled and said " I like that nick name" I laughed and just rolled my eyes. I turned my attention back to Jayden who is now frowning. The four boys were ahead of us and Jayden and I were behind and I turned to face him and whispered "Why the sad face?" He said "You didn't let me hold your hand" I frowned and said "Jayden isn't it to soon?" He chuckled and said "I have to least show people that we are talking...I don't wanna lose you" I smiled and said "Your unbelievable " He reached for my hand but this time I didn't pull away. He was actually holding my hand. HE WAS ACTUALLY HOLDING MY FREAKING HAND!!! Of course I was blushing. This popular cute guy was holding my hand. How lucky am I.... many girls would kill just to be in my spot.

We walked in the school and I felt kinda nervous. I tried to let go of Jayden's hand ,but he wouldn't let go of mines. He smiled at me and I just smiled back. I know people were giving us death glares or harsh stares... Some girls were actually smiling at us and it felt good. We got to class and I finally let go of his hand ,but deep down inside me I still wanted to hold his hand.

What is he doing to me.

This time I didn't sit in front of him...I actually sat beside him. The Spanish Teacher started her lesson. She wanted the everyone in the class to get a partner and as soon as she said that ,Jayden leaned closer to me and whispered " Wanna be my partner in crime?" I chuckled and said "only if you know spanish" I smirked and he frowned. I then chuckled and said "Finee!" He then smiled and said " I wasn't letting anyone else take you as a partner..." he got interrupted by a beautiful blond girl whom was slim and was way skinner than me. She actually looked like a model. She asked him " Jayden...Do have a partner by any chance?" He turned his attention to me and smiled. He said "Look Mindy, You seem very nice ,but I dont want anything to do with you...Like nothing at all....oh and yes.. Catherine is my partner!" Mindy was furious and stomp herself back to her seat. I literally had my mouth opened and Jayden turned to face him. He said " Umm...look Catherine I'll explain to you at lunch, if it's okay with you?" I look at him curiously at what just happened but I smiled and said "Yeah..sure" he smiled and said
"Great...So I think the rest of the guys will meet us over there"
I see the teacher starting to give partners a paper basically about the project.

We are supposed choose a State from South America and talk about their culture,tradition and ect. We have to presented next Friday since today is Wendsday. So basically she is giving us a week and two days. I just started attending this school and I have 2 projects due...GREAT!

Lunch time was about 10 minutes away and I got a text from Jayden saying " Meet me by the main entrance so we can walk to my truck :) " I smiled at the text and reply " Alright :) " A girl next to me suddenly Speaks to me and has her hand sticking out towards me and says "Hi my name is Lesli Damares...Nice to meet you" I shook her hand and Smiled.... I introduced myself also. She then said "Look I'm going to be completely honest, but I literally have no friends and since you are new...this is an awesome opportunity for me to actually make a friend... I mean if it's cool with you?" I look at her very suprised because I'm actually looking ford to making a friend and even a Best Friend wouldn't hurt.

" Yeah...sure!!!! I would love to become friends...Since we are bieng honest, ever since I got here I haven't made any friends...well actually now I have a friend which is you" I give her a warm smile. I then say " I actually have a few friends but...they are wayyy out of my league...". She then asked if I were going to lunch with anyone. I told her " Well actually I'm having lunch with Jayden Franco and his friends but I wouldn't mind if you were to join along... just to be with me and we could get to know each other more!"

Her eyes widen and she starts saying "Y-You hang out with J-J-Jayden freaking Franco!?!?" I stare at her and say "Why what's wrong?" She then says "He is the Schools quarterback and him and his friends are really popular and let's not mention how hot they are" so I smirk and say "You are not wrong about that my friend...and don't worry! You will be with me...You are basically my Bestfriend now" She smiles,but then I see a little panic in her. She says "Catherine...Jayden and his Friends don't hang out with people like me..." She then waves her hands making motions and referring to her body.She has braces, light hazel eyes, Messy Braid,big rimmed glasses and she is wearing black sweats and a big red hoodie that fits her baggy.

I then speak up and said " Girl you have nothing to worry about... and do you mind me asking you something?" She then says "No problem!" I smirk and say "How about a makeover after school?" She replies very excited and says "YES PLEASE!!! I literally have no style" I smile and say "No problem...and can I have your phone to type in my number for we can keep in touch?" She hands it to me and saved my number as Bestie with a crown emoji next to it
( Bestie ) I did the same for her Contact in my phone. I said "Great now let me text Jayden and tell him that you are joining us and don't worry...Lunch in on me!" She smiled excitedly.

Sooooooo Some of you may be like Catherine just met her and they are besties?!?! Well look it's complicated she's in a new school and she needs a friend....what can I say :)
