You were staring at the tv intently. You had Cas on the right of you, and Sam on the left. Dean was next to Sam with a glass of champagne in his hand. When the tv started to count down, Cas panicked.
"(Y/n)? (Y/n), what is happening?" Cas asked, panicked, and you just chuckled and grabbed his hand. "It's okay, it's just counting down." You reassured, and Cas' mouth made an understanding 'o' shape. When the tv reached one, Sam and you screamed, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Then you kissed Cas sweetly on the lips. He seemed taken off guard, but kissed back.
"Happy New Years, Cas!" You yelled, and hugged him tightly. Castiel chuckled.
"I understand this tradition." You drew away, and smiled at him. You turned towards Sam and Dean, and found Sam smiling widely and Dean struggling to breathe, while in a bone crushing hug. You laughed and hugged Sam, then jumped on top of Dean, him letting out a surprised gasp as he got a hug, then you sat on Castiel's lap.
"Happy New Years, (Y/n)." Cas said, and kissed your cheek. You blushed and smiled.
"Happy new year to you too, Castiel."
