Percy Jackson: Chaos's Nephew

Chapter 2

I ran out of my cabin, not caring about the harpies or anyone except Annabeth. I ran until I reached the Athena cabin. I slowly opened the door and shut it behind me. I looked over the bunks, my eyes resting on Annabeth. I silently strode over and crawled into bed next to her. I hugged her, just to make sure she was real. She stirred in her sleep and looked up at me. "Seaweed brain? What are you-" I cut her off with a slight kiss. She kissed me back and snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and set my chin on her head. After a while, I finally fell asleep.

I sat up as sunlight blinked through the gray curtains. Wait... gray!?!? Then I remembered. I'm with Annabeth in the Athena cabin. Crap. If I get caught in here, let's just say it won't be pretty. I quickly scrambled up, startling Annabeth. "Wha.... Seaweed brain?" Realization crept across her face and she pushed me twords the door. "Leave. Back to your cabin." I nodded and took off running. I reached my cabin and sighed with relief as I checked my watch. 7:03 A.M. I walked to my bathroom and took a quick shower. After the shower I heard a conch shell blow. Breakfast! I was starving. I ran all the way. As I sat at my table, Chiron began announcements. "I would like to welcome a new camper!" He said, "His name is Johnathan Estica. Would you stand up please Johnathan." A shy boy stood up from the Hermes table. "Hi..." He waved. Suddenly a bright flash appeared above his head. It was a shimmering lighting bolt. Everyone gasped. "Behold Johnathan, son of Zeus." Everyone knelt.

The dreams kept happening and I kept going to Annabeth for comfort. Jonathan grew up quickly and was soon welcomed as one of the family. We kept sword fighting and he got better. Eventually, after he disarmed me where my guard was down, he got cocky. He started telling everyone that he was superior to me. Naturally,  I was furious. But, as long as I had my Wise Girl, I was okay. Speaking of Annabeth, where is she?
