Chapter 5

No one knew about my wings..... yet. I planned on telling Thalia first. Why? Because she's the most trustworthy person I know. I was walking to the climbing wall, where I told her to meet me. "Hey Thalia!" I called when I saw her. "Hey Kelp Head. What's up?"
"Zeus." She rolled her eyes.
"Mhm. Why did you call me here?"
"Meet me at Zeus's fist at midnight."
"Perce? You ok?"
"Yes. Just.... just be there"
"Ok but....."
"Everything is ok. Just be there."
"Alright Percy."

I folded my wings in. I was at Zeus's fist, waiting for Thalia. Finally she showed up. "Percy?" She called.
"I'm here."
"Why did you need me here?"
"To show you something. But, you can't tell anyone."
"Ok. What is it?"
"Swear on the river Styx that you won't tell anyone."
"I swear on the river Styx that I won't tell anyone without your permission."
"Good. Now, this is going to get weird." She smirked. "I was born for weird." I slowly let out my wings, hoping she wouldn't see. She didn't. "Oh, really?" I asked. "Yes Kelp Head. What did you want to show me?"
"You're staring right at them." She started studying me. "I don't see them." I smiled and flapped my wings. She stepped back. "Um.... Percy?"
"Yeah?"
"There's something behind you."
"Still can't see, huh?"
"No."
"Let's show her then."
"Percy?" I ran forward and grabbed her. At the same time, I took off. She was screaming even though we were only like, ten feet off the ground. I landed by my cabin. She ran in my cabin. Soon, after I folded in my wings, I went inside too. "You.... you have...."
"Yes Thalia."
"You can't tell anyone." She nodded.
"Does Annabeth know?"
"No."
"Why?"
"You are the second-closest person to me."
"Oh..... ok. See you later, Perce."
"See ya." She left my cabin. I took off my flight gear and laid down. Sleep finally took me.
