Never Be Alone

A/n this chapter is a flashback when Shawn and Tori we're in tenth grade.

Toris p.o.v
Shawn, Ian, lauren, Alison, and I were all at shawns house.
"Shawn truth or dare".
"Um. Dare"
"I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl here".
Of cource Ian decides to pick a dare like that.
Shawn looks kind of puzzuled. Confused. He constanly looks at Lauren, Alison, and I. He then looks at me and smiles. Immediately I started blushing.
He then looked at Alison, leaned in and kissed her.
I don't know why, but I began to tense up and get upset. Ian soon notices and looks kind of guilty.
I replayed that whole moment in my head. Shawn leaning in and kissing Alison. Over and over again.
I got up and ran out of the house.
I could hear Shawn calling after me. And slowly the sound fades away.
I sit down at some random bench and begin to cry.
Am I jealous? I can't. I don't like Shawn. I mean we're literally best friends. He's like a brother to me, and it would be weird liking a best friend like that. I kept thinking to myself.
"I'm so stupid".
"Don't say that. You and I both know thats not true".
Typical me. I triped when I heard Shawn.
"Typical Tori. Tripping on nothing." He chuckled which made me giggle.
"Hey listen. What happened? Were you jealo-"
"Shawn. But to be completley honest, I don't know. And no I was not jealous. I was just upset that my best friend didn't tell me he had a crush on someone. And I had to find out by seeing him kiss her." I lied. I know I felt jealous when I saw them kiss. I just can't tell Shawn. It would just be awkward. And besides, I know he doesn't like me. And I'm pretty sure I don't like him.
"Shush my friend. I don't like her. I may like someone else."
"Your bluffing Shawn. How can you not like her. I mean you kissed her. On the lips. The dare didn't specify either the lips or cheek. Go Shawn go get some."
Shawn then looked down, trying to hold in his laughter.
"Shawn?".
"Hmm"
"Seriously, do u like someone else or Alison?"
"I actually do like someone else. I just felt the need to kiss Alison."
"When the time is right I'll tell you. I promise and I hope we will be together". I heard him mumble/whisper under his breath. The last part however I barley heard.
"Can I get a hint on who you like?".
"The person I like is a girl" he said chuckling.
"Seriously. Um the hint I can give you is that we've been friends for a while and you know her pretty well."
(A/n I'm writing this sentence in third person. Keep in mind that for this sentence what Shawn is going to say he's saying it in a whisper so Tori can't hear it.)
"And that person is you". Shawn says in a whisper so no one but him could hear.

Hope you guys had a good new years yesterday. P.s I was watching shawn perform on t.v and of course he was amazing. When he came literally I kept saying "Shh everyone shutup my husband is performing" but like no one was talking. And when he started singing typical me started singing like a maniac but I'm not ashamed.
