11.
Dylan’s POV;
“C’mon Dylan, come out of the closet already!” Vince groaned. It was now 10:00 and my brother and Justin had already left for Jess’ party.
“Seriously we’ve been doing this for about an hour now!” Frankie growled.
“Guys, I look ridiculous, just go on without me.” I sighed. I looked at myself in the mirror. The dress I bought earlier didn’t nearly look as good as I wanted it too. It was a little black dress that stopped mid-thigh. My long tanned legs were freshly shaved and covered with shimmer. I had on red peep-toe platform heels, sexy, yet still comfortable. My red hair was pulled into a tight bun on top of my head, little loose strands forming my face. I was cute, but cute was not what I was aiming for right now.
“Dill, I’m sure you look fine.” Frankie sighed.
“Please baby, just come on out and show us.” Vince pleaded.
I sighed and opened the door, watching both of their jaws drop. I immediately went to close the door again but Vince caught it, “Stop it, I’m not going.”
“Why not? You look so beautiful.” Vince whispered.
“I agree, you haven’t even done your makeup yet, and you still look gorgeous.” Frankie smiled.
“You guys are just saying that.” I muttered, gnawing at my lip.
“I bet every guy there will agree that you, Dylan Butler, look severely hot.” Vince laughed, kissing my forehead.
“Fine, let’s go party.” I faked enthusiasm.
“That’s the spirit.” Both of the boys said at the same time.
Justin’s POV;
I was leaning against the wall, watching these two girls basically gnaw at each other on the dance floor. The only reason they were making out was because they thought Ryan and I was into that kind of thing…which we were, but only with attractive girls. Suddenly the door opened and everyone stopped what they were doing. The look on Ryan’s face was nothing but anger, which caused me to look over at the door too. Frankie walked in first, making his way to the kitchen to make a drink. Then, came Vince and…Dylan. Dylan actually came to a party? My jaw went slack when I saw what she was wearing. No doubt, she was the sexiest girl in here and I know I wasn’t the only one who thought that. The dress she was wearing followed every curve and even though she wasn’t wearing makeup her beauty was still defined. Vince let go of Dylan's hand long enough to walk into the kitchen and grab a drink.
Lacey McClintock came over to my side, “So when do you want me to go up to him?”
“When Ryan gives you the signal.” I answered casually. “Dylan can’t handle alcohol, so when I take her upstairs, you make your move. Vince will be drunk, so he’ll take the bait, and then you take him to the basement, make it seem like you two were doing something, but don’t. Got it?”
“Rodger that, captain.” She smirked, grabbing the cup from my hand and walking away.
Ryan’s POV;
I looked over at Vince and Dylan who were hovering by the wall near the kitchen. She had her back against the wall and he was leaning over her, one hand over her head, his whole face against hers. They’ve been making out for hours and I was starting to second guess my plan. I looked over at Justin who looked furious. I could tell this was torture for him, I don’t blame him. If the girl I basically loved was doing this with someone I didn’t really like, I’d have a problem too. I sighed and looked away, getting up to grab another drink. I slid past the lovely couple and filled my cup with more beer. When I stepped out of the kitchen I saw Dylan heading upstairs and Vince leaning against the wall. I needed to take this chance before it was too late. Regardless, they both had been drinking and I knew Vince, he was an easy drunk. I nodded towards Lacey and watched her saunter towards Vince. She said a few cute words and whispered something in his ear that made a wide grin play across his face.
