"You're result is Abnegation." Tori stated, as I stand up from the dentist like chair.

Today I took my Aptitude Test. I hoped that my result will come up as any of the four factions except my own. I hate it. But somehow staying is one of my options.

I stared at her, for a second, then I looked down, not feeling satisfied.

"Erudite. Dauntless." She continued. How is that?

"You're not supposed to tell anyone about this." She warned.

"How is that even possible? I mean, how will I choose? We supposed to  trust the test!"

"The test, didn't work on you. You are what they call Divergent."

"That's impossible."

"Not impossible. Just extremely rare. Don't ever tell anyone about this, even your friends and your family." I stared at her for a while, then she suddenly brushed me off.

I am even more terrified. I am a Divergent. I can't even trust anyone, or say this to someone. And the worse is, not even my parents.

"If I were you, I'd rather stay. You'll be safer if you stayed." She explained.

"Now, go." I turned around quickly and she grabbed my wrist and dragged me on the back door.

"Go here." I was dragged out and she slammed the door.

I walk through the halls of the headquarters I am in. In Erudite. I was waiting for Caleb, who's taking his Aptitude Test, currently.

Right now, I'm starting to think what to choose. I kicked out one fation in my result, which is the Candor. I am not used in honesty at all, and I often lies.

I stood up from the chair I am sitting in and roamed around. I looked around and noticed every blue things that found here.

As I roamed, I saw this man, wearing all blue pants and a labcoat. He's gorgeous, but I find him quite intimidating. There he is talking to a woman, with an iPad she's holding, covering her stomach.

I leaned in closer, and our gaze met. The woman also looked at me, and I suddenly felt a hand tap my shoulder. It was my brother, Caleb. I looked back at them and they were talking again. I followed Caleb as we walk towards the exit.

Caleb and I don't talk that often, but everytime we have conversation, it always ends up as an arguement. Caleb is very different, but he's natural. He helps people without hesitation, or even thinking if it pleases him or not.

My parents prefer neither of us. But if I were them I'd prefer my brother. He acts naturally Abnegation, while me on the other hand, hesitating on helping people, or even sometimes hide in the corner, afraid of ignoring personally someone who wants help.

When we got home, we both prepared dinner, volunteering to help our parents. I cut carrots and he cuts different vegetable. I can feel Caleb's eyes on me, so I looked at him.

"Tris." He calls.

"Hm." I response.

"What was your result?" He ask worriedly.

I froze for a moment, thinking if I should tell him. But I remembered what Tori reminded. I can't tell this to anyone, even my family, who supposed to be there, accepting my fate. Instead of answering, I asked his.

"What was yours?" He sighed, like when you surrender or admit something.

"Erudite." I gasped.

I am not shocked about it. I know he is kind of Erudite. He often hides books under his bed, or even wear glasses whenever I'm not around. He didn't seem to notice that I'm always around, watching his moves.

"Oh, I see." I nodded.

"You're not shocked, or anything?"

"No. I know it."

"How did you know?"

"I can sense it."

"It doesn't make any sense." He chuckled, and I did.

"It does, a bit." I said, as I continue to cut down other vegetables.
