i just stood there completely dazed and confused. still astonished about the sudden change that has come upon her. i wonder what has caused it?
quickly coming out of the trance i hadn't realized i was trapped in, i saw her starting to make her way up to the cash register.
she placed a Katy Perry album on the counter. i had to do a double take because that is not what she usually listens to and plus i didn't even know the store sold pop albums.
I asked her nicely if that was all. she just replied with a smile and slow nod. after she paid for it and was heading out the door she turned around.
'bye calum', she timidly said.
