True Friend

I was lost, but then you found me.

I was down, you'd lift me up.

When my world starts to crumble,

You never fail to fix it.

Your warmth is my strength,

It gave me hope to still keep going.

Your smile is my light,

It brigthens up my darkest nights.

You are my greatest treasure,

I value more than my life.

I never dreamt of living in this world,

Without you by my side.

Our hearts are connected,

And forever it will be.

Words always fail me,

For nothing could measure,

How much you really meant to me.

But my dearest,

I want to say these things to you:
