Today is my birthday. 2 days ago I got into a fake relationship with one of my closest and bestest friends Farkle Minkis to make another one of my best friends Lucas Friar jealous and so far nothing has worked.

"T hurry up we're going to be late for school". Lucas yelled at me. I was in my bathroom putting on my make-up. Ever since I started dating Farkle I've worn make-up apparently it's what people do when they start dating someone. I walk into my room. Lucas is on my bed. "Ready to go Friar?". I asked. He looks up. "Wow Taylor you look..............Wow". Lucas said, I chuckle. "Thank you Lucas. Come on we don't wanna be late for school". I said climbing out my bay window.

"That's what I've been saying for the past 10 minutes". He said. "We have 5 minutes before the subway leaves. We have to go meet Riles, M and Flirt". I said ignoring him. "You still call Farkle flirt?". Lucas asked. "Why wouldn't I?". I asked. "Because you're dating him". Lucas stated. "And that means I can't have a nickname for him?". I asked. "No....Well I don't know. Forget I said anything". He said. "Lucas are you okay. You've been acting weird the past few days". I said. "I'm fine. I guess I'm just having a little trouble coming to terms with you and Farkle as a couple". He said. "Why?". I asked. "I don't know. I just never pictured you with Farkle". Lucas said.

The two of us run onto the subway. Farkle, Maya and Riley are in our usual seats. Riley gives me a big hug. "Happy birthday Taylor. You are now older then all of us". Riley said. I chuckle. "Thanks Riles". Maya gives me a hug next. "Happy birthday CowGirl". She said. "Thank you Hart". I said tipping my cowgirl hat. It's always been a tradition in my family that we wear a cowboy or cowgirl hat when it's our birthdays for the whole day.

"What's with the hat?". Maya asked. "It's a family tradition to wear this hat on our birthdays". I explained. "You do that too?". Lucas asked. "You too?". I asked. He nods. "Okay can the boyfriend of the birthday girl get a hug please?". Farkle asked. I go into Farkle's open arms. "Happy birthday Taylor. Thank you for making me the luckiest guy in the world". Farkle said. "Thank you Farkle for being the perfect guy". I said.

20 minutes later we are in History class. I'm sitting at Mr Matthews desk. "Don't you think Mr Matthews will be mad at you for sitting at his desk". One of the girls Sarah asked. "That's a good question Sarah". Me Matthews said walking into the classroom. "Am I mad- no. Go to your own desk Miss James". Mr Matthews said. "But it's my birthday". I said with a puppy dog face. "Ohh she's pulling out the puppy dog face on you Matthews". Maya said.

"It's the cutest thing in the world. Its very hard to resist. I should know. She's used it on my 13 times. I haven't won once". Lucas said. Mr Matthews looks at me, then at Lucas, then back to me. "Yeah okay. Since you're so eager to be at the front of the class, you and Mr Friar can present your birthday presentation right now". Mr Matthews said. "How's the fear we still have 2 days to finish it". Riley said. "It's okay Riles, we've got this". I said. Lucas comes and joins me up at the front of the class.

Once we've finished our presentation the whole class is shocked including Mr Matthews. "So that's an A right?". Lucas asked. "Uhh yeah sure. How'd you do that so fast?". Mr Matthews asked. "With team work. It's quick and easy if you have a great partner. And Lucas did". I said. "I'm partnered with the smartest guy in the school and you guys finished before we did". Riley said shocked. "We make a pretty good team". Lucas said. "A perfect team". I corrected.

The classroom door bangs open. Lucas wraps his arms around me for protection. Mr Matthews started screaming. "Sorry I'm late I was picking something up". Zay said. He was holding a box in his hands. "Nice scream Matthews". Maya said. "Mr Babineaux next time come in like a normal person. Okay". Mr Matthews said clutching his T-Shirt dramatically. "What's in the box?". Farkle asked. "A birthday cake for Taylor. Dude quit hugging Farkle's girlfriend". Zay said to Lucas. Lucas immediately lets go of me. Farkle winks at me. "Zay you shouldn't of". I said opening the box. "Red velvet. It your favourite". He said, I give him a hug. "Happy birthday Taylor". He said. "Thank you Zay".
