Chapter 1: Coming Close to God

                             I was getting ready for bed one night already had my pj's on and was laying down. Well I laid down and closed my eyes and herd a voice. I said to myself, that is very strange no ones awake except for me maybe its just my brothers playing a prank on me." So I closed my eyes and tried going to sleep. Then I herd that voice again saying," my child open your  eyes and look around you see no one it is me your Heavenly Father, your God." I thought could this really be God could it be him why would he come to me a sinner like me. I asked him," God why do you come to me I have done nothing except sin and turn my back on you why do you want to talk to me?" My child I love all and will never forsake anyone. You must change your ways now that you have herd my voice or you can ignore me and turn away. God I love you and I do not want to be a sinner anymore I am tired of the sins I cast them all on you to take care of I will read my bible, I will go to church and not ignore your word I love you. Then I turned on some Christian music and went to sleep.

                               The next morning when I woke up I ran down stairs and got my bible and read it. Then I went upstairs to my room and prayed and prayed and talked with God. Well as that day went on I sinned but not as much as I usually did on a weekend. I thought to myself that was really God I was talking to God last night. Thank you God for talking with me. That very night I went to bed again and didn't hear no voice I thought is God done with me could he have forsaken me and left my side. Then I thought no he said he loves all and never will forsake no one he is probably just busy so I went to sleep.

                          The very next morning I woke up at seven o'clock. I went and got in the shower and washed off. Then I got out of the shower and put my deodorant on and went and got my clothes on. I went to the kitchen and took my pills then brushed my teeth. I got a brush and brushed and dried my hair then I put my cologne on. I got my bible put it in my backpack and went outside on the porch and prayed with my dad like usual. We saw the bus on the other side so I went down my driveway and waited on the bus. I got to school and some of the people had noticed I had a change in my attitude they said I was much more positive. I told them thank you and went on to my own business. I went through school without sinning barely any. After the eighth period bell rang I went to the gym were the bus riders wait for their bus. I ride bus twenty-five but that day I sat at bus three. I got my bible out and started reading it. My friend Katie's cousins Kailey and Haven sat beside me and listened to me read my bible. They were actually wanting to learn about God. So I read to them and told them about God and how he created them and loved them.
